My sophomore year started out pretty crappy. I made the varsity softball team and was a JV cheerleader so you would think that I had quite a few friends. But i didn't. Most of my friends went to a different school and I couldn't drive yet so you can understand the struggle.
My first day was pretty good surprisingly, i mean, i didn't have too many annoying skanks in my classes so far. To be honest, today was great! My friends were in most of my classes and my teachers didn't want to crush my skull. The last period I have before lunch is gym. Great. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to go to gym on the first day. I barely know anyone in here, mostly a bunch of juniors. there was one guy that caught my eye, as the gym teacher was passing out locks I saw him looking at me. He's a senior, and he's been looking at me all day. I wonder why, he's got everyone in his grade kissing the ground he walks on. I think his name is Andy.
I got my gym clothes. They'e even worse than last year, blue skin tight shorts that come to about my mid thigh and some gross oversized shirt with our school name on it. I couldn't help but think how Andy was gonna look in his gym clothes. I pulled my hair into a messy side braid and walked out of the locker room. Damn, Andy looked hot. The guys got these tight shirts that were almost see though and some blue gym shorts. He must've saw me checking him out because he had that cocky ass smirk on his face. He's hot but most likely a jerk.
I was praying to God that we wouldn't have to play soccer. Well, Miss Lawrence must be the devil because she decided to make us play soccer. I suck at soccer. I'm an okay goalie, but that's about it. Miss Lawrence made Andy and some junior named Hope team captains. I was certain that I would be one of the last to be picked, if we were playing softball it would be a different story.
"Alright, no ones gonna be left out, team captains get to pick teams and positions" Miss Lawrence said that. "Andy, pick first."Gabby."
What? Like me Gabby? I looked around a little and finally asked if there was another Gabby.
"No, I want you." Andy said with a really annoyed look on his face.
"Okay." I honestly don't know why he knew my name or why he picked me. Oh well, his team's not gonna win. Hope was really pretty, I talked to her a couple times, she picked all the people that she knew weren't gonna be picked otherwise so my team was looking pretty good. You know, except for me.
Our gym teacher must be completely oblivious to the fact that we all know how to play soccer, so she started explaining every single detail that goes into it. Someone nudged my shoulder and I turned to see a tall blonde blued eyed looking down at my with smirk.
"Hey, I'm Andy, you don't know me, but you will." he winked." I rolled my eyes and offered my hand.
"I'm Gabby."
"I know."
"Yeah, i noticed. How do you know my name?"
"Well, you're awfully hot for a sophomore."
"Oh really? Well you're awfully cocky for a senior."
He smiled, I liked it when he smiled. And he moved right up next to me so our arms were touching.
"There's just something I really like about you Gabby."
I was going to say something back to him but then the teacher finally finished talking and we had to start playing. Luckily I talked Andy into letting me be goalie. Andy was playing the whole time and he's really good. I think he plays on the varsity team. After a long game, that we won, gym was finally over and i could go to lunch. I ran into the locker room a pulled of my sweat drenched shirt and slipped on my blue crop top and white high waisted shorts. I took the braid out of my dirty blonde hair and headed off to lunch. I found my friends already sitting at a table. I sat down and got my lunch money from Maggie, I gave it to her in homeroom cause I knew that I would loose it. I got back and scarfed down my sandwich listened to my friend Mariah talk about her new boyfriend. I went up the throw my lunch away and i felt a large pair of hands pull me by the waist into them.
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?" I screamed only the find Andy with his signature smirk painted across his face.
"Making new friends."
The rest of the day was okay and by okay I mean Andy wasn't in any of my other classes except for Biology. I rode the bus home and only got mildly got annoyed by the middle schoolers.
AN: Hey, I really am new to this and have no idea what I'm doing so if you hate it please tell me how I can make it better. Also votes are really appreciated.
