Robert "Meek" Williams

"Get up! School time!", Carol yelled.

I looked at the time on my alarm and put my arm back over my eyes.

"5 more minutes."

"No! Get up!"

I groaned and sat up. She handed me a paper and I rubbed my eyes, and started reading it.

"What the hell. This is chores. How come Nic and I switched?"

"You guys have been doing the same chores for the past 3 years. We're changing them.", Robert said.

"Couldn't you guys just have told us this after we got out school?", Nicki asked.

"Then we would've forgot."

"Exactly."

I laid back down and somebody threw a pillow at me.

"Hey!"

"Get up and get dressed! I want you guys downstairs in 30 minutes!"

I got up and Nicki walked out.

"Wait Nic. Come here."

She walked back and I hugged her.

"I want you to talk to Fah today."

"Okay. I can do that, but if she tries something I won't show her any mercy."

"Just don't fight her."

"I won't."

I nodded and kissed her forehead. She walked out and I started getting ready.

Onika "Nicki" Williams

"So you were right?", Sherika asked and I nodded.

"Yep. She's 3 weeks pregnant. I'm going to talk to her today."

"That's nice. She was really need all the help she can get."

"Her mom is barely home. I feel bad for her sometimes."

"Yeah me too."

We walked past Meek & his boys then Meek pulled me into a hug.

"So you just gone walk past me like I'm not here?"

I giggled and hugged him back.

"What's up Rika. I heard that shit you were talking yesterday.", Meek said.

"Good. I hope you knew how wrong you were.", Sherika said.

He chuckled and nodded.

"Well it's handled and taken care of. Lets get to class."

He interlocked our hand and Sherika looked down at it.

"Um. Anything going on that you haven't told me Nicki?"

"Nope. Just everyday bestfriend stuff."

"Everyday bestfriend stuff my ass."

We laughed and walked in the classroom. I saw Fah sitting in the back and I walked back there. I sat in the other seat and put my stuff down.

"What are you doing back here?", Fah asked."

"I just wanted to talk. Friendly talk.", I said and she nodded.

"I know that we really haven't gotten along before, but I want to change that. You are having my bestfriends baby and I understand that you're going to be around a lot."
