I tug at my hair in frustration. Is this all I do?
Is this what I am meant to be?
I'm so freaking selfish!
Tears flow from my eyes, I slowly collapse to my knees. I can't believe it, I'm so selfish. I wanted dad back so badly, I forgot about the girl I love and jeopardised our future.
I start hiccuping uncontrollably, my eyes stinging in anger and pain.
Blue's mom stands by the doorframe, staring at me with her hand over her mouth."I'm sorry child, but I have to go in" I nod, she starts shutting the door and I'm left here paralysed.
I get up and start running towards my house, my vision getting blurry. As I reach the front door, my fist slams the door. I slowly slide down again. Dad opens the door and his face shows shock after seeing me on the floor.
"Son, what's wrong?" He tries to lift my arms up, but I'm too tired to stand.
"Dad, I killed her." His eyes bolt open, his mouth gasping.
"W-what?"
"Dad, I have to tell you something."
"Dad, I Time Travelled to bring you back and now she's dead because I saved her on the day of your funeral." He bends down, knee level to lift up my chin.
"I kept telling you right? I reminded you constantly... but see what you've done." He rubbed his temples in frustration.
"Dad, I'm sorry, can we bring her back?" He nods.
"But, I'll have to go."
This is it, a life for a life, Sacrifice is everything here.
"But dad, I'll miss you, I just want you to sta--"
"But son, that's not what it's meant to be. You changed the past, and look what you've done. It's time to correct everything to the way it should be." He pulls me up. I grab onto his shoulder, before he leads me up the stairs.
He lets me lay down, and commands me to sleep.
"Dad, I'll miss you. You're my best friend, I had lots of fun today."
"I'll miss you too son, you can just visit me, okay?"
"Okay dad." He kisses my forehead. Then I drift off to sleep.
💙💙💙💙
I fixed everything, I watched dad get hit by the speeding truck, and I saw myself run out of the house and a ambulance rush towards him.
Now, I get up from my bed, I try not to cry, but it comes naturally. I step down stairs, breathing in deeply.
"Kian! Babe?! Your Mac and cheese is ready!" The tears from my eyes are instantly dried, happiness flowing through me.
"Blue?! Blue you're back!"
I run and hug her by her slim waist. I breathe in her vanilla and mint smell that I've missed so much.
"I missed you so much." I tell her, she giggles within my arms.
"Kian, I never left, you ran up to sleep, so basically you left me." She laughs, making me smile.
"I love you so much, I'm so sorry." I hug her again.
"Aye, aye, enough of that, my Mac and cheese might get burned." She wiggles out of my grip. but before she turns to leave me, I grab her arm spinning her to face me. I smash my lips to hers, and instantly her eyes flutter close.
God, I love her so much.

Seven years later.
'Narrated'
Now, Kian lives with his wife, Blue. They are the strongest couple I know.
I've learned a lot now, time isn't a game. No matter how much you miss a person, you can never turn back time.
He visits his Dad, now and then, Scarlett, his younger sister, is now in fourth grade. They all have a happy life, and hopefully it'll stay that way.
Once again, until the end.
