I angrily stomped down the street, desperate to escape. I rushed towards the park. My mind racing, my palms feeling sweaty. I felt rain start to trickle down. Great. I strolled down the pathway, gazing down at the floor. My mind feels like a hurricane, just rushing around, questions filling my mind. But the biggest question of all:

What's he going to be like?

A few minutes later, my mind became too loud, causing me to let out a gasp. I curled up in the grass and allowed sobs to erupt from me, replaying what's recently occurred in my head. Losing Logan, meeting Leo, my Dad leaving, Mum struggling for money, Mum now getting a new boyfriend. I wrapped my arms tightly around myself. The rain's starting to pour now. I'm cold, getting soaked. I sighed. The only good thing that's happened in my life recently is meeting Leo and Charlie. I can trust them with anything and everything. They're like my other half. A small smile came onto my face at the thought of them.

I have no idea how long I stayed curled up for. All I knew was that I'm soaked and freezing. I trembled, sniffing. Suddenly, I hear a soft welsh voice.

"Mia?" he spoke. I instantly recognised who it is. Leo.

"L-l-leo" I trembled, biting my lip.

"Are you okay?!" He worriedly spoke, throwing his jacket off, wrapping it around me, instantly smelling Leo's scent. I let out a heavy sigh as Leo wraps his arms around me.

"I'm sorry, I'm stupid" I sighed, digging my face into Leos chest. He suddenly flinched. Probably at how cold I am.

Leos pov:

I was just going on a midnight stroll to clear my head, the last person I expected to see was Mia.

What's Mia doing out
this late in the rain?

I gasped as I saw her, instantly rushing towards her, worry etching across my face. Her face is as pale as now, her lips chapped and teeth shattering from the cold. Dry tear stains on her cheeks, her eyes red and bloodshot. She looks broken. I just want to reassuringly hug her. I hate seeing Mia like this, it breaks my heart. I felt my heart violently race as I gave her my jacket, securely wrapping my arms her. I flinched at the shocks that flooded through my body as she dug her head into my chest, a sigh coming from her lips,

"I'm sorry, I'm stupid." She whimpered. She looks and sounds so vulnerable right know.

"You aren't stupid at all and don't be sorry." I snapped, but made sure to say it softly. "Do you want to come mine? Warm up a bit?" I nervously asked.

"Y-yeah please" she trembled, her teeth shattering, her eyes lightly closed. I nodded, biting my lip as I gently helped her to stand up. She dug her head into my chest again. I felt butterflies take through me. I wrapped my arm around her delicate waist and helped her to walk.

I'll find out later what happened, for now, I just need to keep Mia warm and safe.

Mias pov:

I tumbled down the path, snuggled into Leo. It was about a 10 minute walk before we finally reached his door. Quietly, he opened it, careful not to wake anybody. He showed me to his couch. I fell back onto it in relief, feeling the heat from his cosy house instantly rise through me.
