It wasn't long till a nurse scream was heard and a rush of doctors coming in. Dana had passed out. And was lying down lifeless on the bed. The team of doctors rushed a distraught Kevin out the room. Dana hadn't yet been told the sex of the baby or had the baby in her arms for more than 10 minutes.
Kevin was told to wait in a room along with some other nervous family members. He was offered drinks and food but did not interact with anyone, instead staring into space. To say that Kevin was sick with fear was an understatement. It seemed like a life-time till a doctor came into the room and called for Kevin, he shot up and followed the doctor nervously. After a lot of explaining the doctor tapped Kevin on the shoulder and left Kevin alone. Never before had Kevin felt so empty, he felt sick with the spiral of emotions he was feeling. Endless tears streamed down his face, what had he done wrong? How could the doctors let this happen? Suddenly he sprung up and rushed into the room where Dana last was.
He stopped in shock. Running over to her and screaming, nurses tried to drag him away from the scene but failed.
