Well that first chapter was total crap... but this one won't be as crappy

Tuesday came around in the blink of an eye. I was mentally preparing myself to break up with Jake, to my knowledge he was the one who always did the breaking up but I don't know why that was he was such a dick.

" Umm Jake, we're just not working out. We're two different people and we aren't good for each other. It's not you it's me."
I said it loud rehearsing.

Scrap that it was him! I was a perfectly good girlfriend.

" Jake an tired of your crap am done!!" I said out loud again steering into my full length mirror

It was after four in the morning and it was Tuesday. I didn't want today to pass and I was still his girlfriend. Alexis was right I was too good for him, even though he was cute I won't put up with his shit!

" Jake, listen am done with this, am done with us because we just don't clique and to be honest I don't like you that much anymore. Am sure some desperate soul would love your love and affection but frankly... an better off without it." I looked in the mirror a wide grin spread across my face. " Oh my God yes!!! That's the one, that's the one!!"

" Renay what's going on in there?" Dad asked from outside my door.

"Nothing dad just got a little over excited that's all."

I heard him mumble something and walked away. I rehearsed that same thing over and over until I knew it by heart. Then I called Alexis.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

" Whhaaaaatttt!!!?" Alexis said in a weird voice I can't even describe.

" Guess what I know what am gonna say to Jake today!"

SCIENCE

" Alexis did you hear me?"

SCIENCE

"Alexis !!"

" So" she started in a calm voice " You deprived me if my sleep to tell me you know what your going to say to Jake? WHAT THE HELL RAE." She started to shout" Ahhhhh !!!!! YOU BETTER HANG UP THIS DAMN PHONE BEFORE I STA-"

I hung up before I could hear anything unpleasant. I had forgotten that Alexis was still asleep she got really cranky when she woke up involuntarily.

Just then my bed started to vibrate, I smiled as I saw Alexis's name come up. I knew she wouldn't be able to sleep after all that yelling

" Hey sunshine." I said happily

" Shut up and tell me!"

" How am I supposed to tell you after you said I should shut up?"

" Renay tell me before I go wicked- which-of-the-west on you"

I giggled and told her what I had rehearsed

" You go girl. Make sure you do it with attitude okay? And turn and walk away before he can reply. Don't disappoint!!"
**Beep**

She hung up on me.... rude!

Later that day I avoided Jake until lunch. When he approached with out stretched arms and a cute puppy face I forgot that I was breaking up with him for a second and was contemplating hugging him ..... he was so DAMN cute!!
But I had to do what I had to do.
When he was about to engulf me in a bear hug I extended my arm causing him to stop dead in his tracks.

I signed
" Jake, listen am done with this am done with us because we just don't clique and to be honest I don't like you that much anymore. Am sure some desperate soul would love your love and affection but frankly.... an better off without it."

He stood there looking at me with an emotionless face. I remembered what Alexis said so I turned and walked away joining my friends who were watching intently.

They greeted me with high fives.

I couldn't help but feel a little bad about the harshness of what I just did, I wasn't always like this. People loved me, I didn't get in arguments and I avoided conflict but the adrenalin kicked in and I shoved guilt in a corner and enjoyed my new singleness

I was happy.

I was free.
