It was a cold September of 1994 when the then Mayor of Capiz City Arthur Miguel Roxas II had the first sight of his newborn son. His smiles was as bright as the sun. He held him close to his chest and said proudly: ''Love you anak!'' He named him Arthur Tomas Roxas III after his deceased brother.

However, in the other side of the story, the daughter of the most famous couple in PH cinema, Samantha Grace Poe is pregnant with her first child. But the father was unknown. And to save their daughter from speculations and gossips, they sent her abroad to give birth to her child. Far away from the media blitz.
''Sammy this is for your own good. Kailangan dun ka manganak para walang issue. Para safe din. Mailalayo naten sia sa kung sino man hudas ang gumawa nian sayo!''
Her father - Fred Poe Jr. said with a heavy a heart because he will sent her daughter away for a very long time.
In the plane going to US, Sammy had a plan of her own. She has a nanny with her and thats the plan.
''Yaya Pising basta yung plano naten ok?!''
''Yes po mam.''
With a teary eyed she bids PH goodbye and Sammy knew her plan will be a devastation to her parents and her entire family, but that is how she will feel better.
October of 1994 Massachusetts General Hospital
Sammy gave birth to her daughter, she witnessed how small and tiny her baby was and how lovely her baby's eyes were. Sammy smiled as the doctor put her newborn close to her chest and the doctor told her: ''She has your eyes and smile Mam!''
''Thanks doc!'' she said with glee.

After two weeks of stay at the hospital she wrote a letter to her parents about her delivery. But she knew she must lay out her plans.
Mama Sarah and Papa Fred,
Ma, Pa, Wala na po siya. Masakit Ma. Hindi ko kaya umuwe ng Pinas knowing that I have this pain in my heart. Ma, Pa... I want to stay here for good. I will let Yaya Pising go home to her family na. She will tell you everything nalang. Love you so much Ma and Pa!

With a heavy heart she sent the letter to her parents. She lied to them. We all knew her daughter was alive. She then admits to herself that what she did, will not just broke her parents' heart but hers as well. She wrote a letter for her daughter too and keep it next to the baby's cradle as Yaya Pising prepared for her departure.
''Anak mahal na mahal ka ng Mama. Kailangan ko lang gawin to para mailayo ka sa mga kaguluhan na kakaharapin ng pamilya mo. I need to sent you away as soon as possible para wala ng makagulo sa yo. Mananatili ka kina Yaya Pising itatago ka nia para di ka makilala ng Media at hindi ka na gagambalain pa nito. Anak mahal na mahal ka ng Mama lagi mong tatandaan yan.''
''Yaya Pising oras na. Ilayo mo siya ng di siya makilala ng kanyang ama. Ayaw kong masaktan ang anak ko kaya dapat wlng makakilala sa kanya...''
Tears roll down her face as she bid farewell to her baby. She knew that this would be for the best of everybody. She knew who her baby's father is. She tried to talk to him but he doesn't really care at all.

Back at Febuary of 1994
''Art, pakinggan mo ako. Hindi kita niloloko. Buntis ako at alam ko na sa iyo ito!''
''Sammy, I have alot on my plate. I have another child on its way now. Alam mo ba kung gaano kahirap itago sa media yun?!''
''So sinasabi mo na kailangan mong mamili? Yung anak mo na nauna o ito? Ganun ba? Ang sama mo.''
''Masisira ang image ko at magagalit sa kin ang tatay ko. Sammy, I am full of work right now so stop bothering me.''
''Grabe ka Art. Tandaan mo ito hinding hindi mo masisilayan ang anak mo. Mas pinili mo na naman ang politika! Lagi na lang!''
''Sammy... Wait...''
Sammy walked away crying. Leaving Art with pain in his chest. He didn't want to do that but he has to or he will jepordize his rising political fame and witness his father's anguish. Sammy went straight home and told her parents about her pregnancy. She sobs heavily bec she thought that Art will choose her and the baby. She was really heart broken. She cried herself to sleep every night. However, she vowed never to tell who the father was and her parents honored her choice. She doesn't want to mention his name ever again.

When Her parents back in PH received it, they felt pain, tears wont stop falling from their eyes. To keep their daughter safe from the media frenzy, they managed to hid everything up. Even though its hard for them not to be there when their daughter needed them the most.
"Our princess lost her child..."
"I dont even know what she feels right now..."
At that very moment the time stood still. It was earth shattering. But we all know that Sammy's baby is alive and whatever plan she has that will be told soon.

Yaya Pising eventually went back to the PH with the sad news about Sammy's baby. She told Sarah And Fred that their first grandchild was a she. She also said that Sammy cope up eventually and fast. She assures Sarah and Fred that Sammy is fine and well.
