I stepped out of the car and looked over to the huge building. This was going to be my new home from now on. I still couldn't believe how much my life had changed in just one day. Just yesterday I was complaining to my father about how much I needed space. Well, I guess I got it now.
My parents had only told me we were moving this morning. They even had all of my things packed for me. It was all so sudden. "So, how do you like it?" my father, Dereck, asked me. "It's...well, huge!" "It's a good thing you asked for more space, then." "Yep, it is." "You can head in first and take a look around. Your room is on the second floor. It has most of your boxes inside already." "Great, thanks," I replied.
I walked towards the huge wooden door and pulled it open. I looked back towards my parents. " Go on, swettie," my mom, Mary Elizabeth, said. I turned back towards the door and walked inside into the huge mansion.
This place was incredible. There was so much room. This house looked like it was meant for people with more than a hundred children. Was this my parents way of telling me they were having more kids?
I decided to go straight into my room. I had my whole life to look around the house. I wanted to see just how much space I was working with.
I checked inside every room on the second floor until I finally found my own. It was beautiful. Totally empty but beautiful either way. I could totally get used to this!First chapter of Life Changer!!!
Although I have not been updating my other books, I have been working on this one. I will try to update all my books this week but if I don't, I just want to apologize in advance.
I hoped you enjoyed reading this chapter of Life Changer. Sorry for the short first chapter but I promise the next chapters won't be as short. The reason for the short chapter is because I'm just testing it out. If it gets a lot of love I will totally update more often and have longer chapters.
Please show some love if you enjoyed it. Just a simple vote would help.
Love, Jey 💜
