Infants and elder humans are the most useless and contribute the least, and yet they are the most well off.
Human infants stay with their parents until 18 human years, and some even longer. 18 human years seems to us way too long, since humans are able to reproduce and therefore go out to mate at as young as 13 human years.
Elders typically do not work. They consume food and travel many places if they have the energy, but most of them do nothing and do not contribute to the overall survival of the entire human species.
Humans die at an average of 80 human years. This, however, seems like too long. Humans become useless around age 60-70. Dying proudly at 50 seems better than slowly wasting away and dwindling the earth's resources. Humans are truly stupid and wasteful creatures.
