Everyone loved her singing, it was soft like a dove's coo. She decided to sing a few lullabies she knew. As she started singing the second lullaby she heard a quiet snap! She abruptly stopped singing and turned around in a full three sixty but didn't spot anything. "Strange...." She muttered to herself. She looked at her alarm and saw 8:00 staring right back at her. She sighed deep, I can make it. She told herself silently in her mind. As she continued singing softly she turned around in circles seeing if she could spot anything. She didn't hear anything move and didn't see anything. By the time she finished the second song she was thinking herself such a scaredy cat for freaking out about the snapping noise from earlier. She checked her Phone yet again to see 6:00 left. This is going to be a long six minutes. She thought. She didn't continue singing because she thought she spotted something move. She stopped dead in her tracks and stared into a bush where she thought she had seen something move. She waited but nothing stirred. She walked towards it slowly and looked over it, but nothing was there. You're just being paranoid. She told herself, trying to calm her racing heart. Was she just being paranoid? But before she could move, a hand with a cloth covered in chloroform, came up and covered her mouth and nose. She tried to pry the hand off but the person was strong and kept a good grip. The person held the cloth over her mouth and nose for five minutes, which is ridiculous if you ask me. Her eyes started to close but before they did she saw her attacker's face and thought she'd seen him before. She closed her eyes, as her mind slipped into unconsciousness. Her body went limp and the man picked her up bridal style. He ran for about two hours going faster than a race car, seemingly only a blur in the night. Slowly he came upon a hillside, with a mansion built on top of it. He slowed to a walk and as he reached the gate that wrapped around the mansion, it opened as he walked up to it. After he entered the gate closed behind him. The same thing happened with the front, double doors. They opened as he walked up to them and closed when he entered. He went up a flight of stairs into an empty room. He set Sam on the bed and pulled the covers over top of her. He stood there for a moment, just staring at her sleeping face. She looked calm to him, unlike when in the woods he spotted her and came closer, accidentally stepping on a twig making it break. She looked so afraid. "She doesn't look much different from the last time I saw her." He muttered to himself. She shifted and rolled over in her sleep, he left the room leaving her alone to sleep in peace. He pondered about what to tell her when she woke up, throughout the rest of the night.
Back in town, Sam had dropped her phone when she lost consciousness. It had laid there for a few hours and her friends started to worry. They wouldn't dare go out into the woods, so they simply waited for the sun to come up. A few hours later the sun started rising, it shined bright as if nothing in the world was wrong. But something was wrong, Sam was missing! "Samantha, breakfast is ready." Her mother called into Sam's room. No reply. "Samantha?" Her mother opened the door but the room was empty. She immediately told her husband and they alerted the rest of the town. The other teens who were playing truth or dare told Sam's parents about what had happened and how she went into the woods. They did not mention it was specifically Kim who had dared her but they did say she was dared to do it.
Back in the mansion, Sam's eyes fluttered open as she woke up. For a moment she thought she was back at home in her room but then she noticed the open window and immediately knew this was not her home. She poked her head out the window and found herself in a three story mansion. "Where the heck am I?" She asked to herself out loud, her head still hanging out the window. She was still in the forest, she could see the trees after the gate that separated the forest from the mansion grounds. She was terribly confused and was starting to get scared. She went back into the room, but left the window open because she liked the fresh air.
