A few hours later Sam groaned, feeling shooting pain through her neck as she laid there half awake. She moved her hand to her neck, feeling a cloth draped over it. She heard feet rush to where she was. "Samantha?" A voice asked. She was too tired and in pain, she didn't try to remember what happened or who the voice came from. She muttered keeping her hand on the cloth, "If this was damp... it's not anymore..." She felt a hand grab the cloth and a few moments later a cold, damp cloth was resting back on her neck. When the coolness of the cloth soaked into her skin she sighed slightly and relaxed. "Are you okay?" Someone asked. She simply nodded. Slowly she fell into a calm sleep. The man who had bit her and helped her, sat back in the chair at the end of the bed, watching his hands once again. She was wandering around in the woods at midday searching and searching. She called his name countless times but never heard a reply. "Peter, where are you?" She called. "Peter, come on. If you can hear me come out." She heard something move behind her and turned swiftly yet nothing was there. She heard something else behind her yet again and as she turned she was faced with two bright red eyes, staring at her through a bush. The thing jumped at her, right as it was about to bang into her... Sam sat up straight in the bed she had been in, panting hard, sweat covered her forehead. "Samantha!" The man who had been sitting in a chair at the end of the bed was immediately up and standing by her side. Her eyes were big, full of fear. "Are you alright? Samantha, say something!" He said. She didn't even look at him as she muttered, "I saw Peter... in my dream..." The man's eyes went wide in surprise. "It was the night he went missing..." She muttered. The man walked over and before Sam could react enveloped her in a warm hug. Her eyes went wide and she just sat there freaking out for a moment. Her heart rate had shot through the roof. The man started stroking her hair softly in a comforting way. She found herself relaxing, slowly. Wait... She thought. Only one person knows how to calm me down... At least like this... She slowly pushed away from the man and slowly looked into those eyes. I know those eyes. But from where. She thought. Then everything came together and her eyes widened slightly. "Peter...?" She whispered, trying not to hope it was him to find out it wasn't. He didn't say anything just pulled her into the hug again. "Hi, Samantha." He said softly. "Peter!" She cried, she wrapped her arms around him, returning the hug and ended up crying into his shoulder. "What's wrong?" He asked, staying in the hug. "I-I thought I would never see you again." She continued to cry, as he continued to stroke her hair. "It's ok. I'm here now. I'll keep you safe. I promise." He whispered. She nodded. Then she remembered what had happened before she blacked out. She immediately pulled away from him. "What?" He asked. "You're a vampire..." She whispered, remembering. "You bit me..." She said, sounding as if she could not believe it. "I know, i'm sorry. I just couldn't help it. I'm sorry." He said. She remember him putting the cool cloth on her neck. She relaxed, walked back over to him and they hugged once again. That my dear reader was the start of a great relationship. Now you might be wondering how I know all this. Samantha, was always a clever girl. Samantha, just happens to be... me.
