chapter 3: jail cells

Ethan's POV

    Cameron and I were walking into Lid's to buy a new snapback while shoving some salty pretzel bites into our mouths. My phone starting vibrating in my back pocket. I reach in and grab it, the screen said Gabby. I groan as I answer my sister's call "Uhh, hey Ethan can you come bail Gianna and I out of mall jail"? I Just stood in the middle of the store blinking like an idiot. "HELLO! ETHAN ARE YOU LISTENING"? I snap out of it and tell Gabby I'll be there shortly. "Who was that"? Cameron questions me. "It was Gabby, her and Gia are locked up". I heard Cameron start to laugh, he had this huge cheeky grin on his face. "What's up with you"? I asked him. "Oh, I'm just glad your sister is in mall jail".

    I didn't question him any further so I just started to walk out of Lid's with Cameron close behind.
    It's been bugging me, Cameron has been acting weird since last night. Something must've happened, I'm not sure what but it's definitely something big. I really want to ask him what's wrong but I think talking about it will piss him off even more. We kept passing stores going and down escalators. I could not find this damn jail cell place. Cameron reads on the information sign and says "it's all the way back on the first floor".
    We make our way down the escalator one last time and finally find where Gabby and Gianna were being held captive. I never laughed so hard in my life. Seeing Gabby behind bars like that... Hilarious.. No really, it was. I quickly take a picture of her and I pay the mall cop the fifty dollar bail and I see Gabby and Gianna sign their release form. "Wait till everyone see's this"! I mocked my sister... I think I even got her more mad... Gabby started to say "go ahead, post it for everyone to see, I don't even care anymore". Okay not the response I was looking for... Way to take the fun out of it...  "Whatever, I just want to go home".

Cameron's POV

    We finally left the mall and now we're all in Gabby's car driving home. I hear Gabby singing along to some Ariana Grande song on the radio. I couldn't help but chuckle, she looked so cute and just so perfect. I really hate how I ended things even though it was her fault for ending our little "session". But oh well, I need to be the bigger person and ask her out on a dinner date. "Does anyone want to stop anywhere to eat before we get back home"? Gabby yells over a song I haven't heard before, it was pretty good though. I quickly replied with "let's go to McDonald's"! That was my favorite fast food restaurant. "Alight McDonald's it is, I love that place". Gabby says back to me. Hmmm... We both like the same fast food restaurant.. Maybe it's a sign... Probably not, everyone loves McDick's. Only two minutes passed and we're here. I could already smell the cheeseburgers cooking... Yum.
    We all get out of the car and I strut into McDonald's like a fashion model.. I don't know why, I just did. Everyone decided to get the same thing, the two cheeseburger meal. "For number twos please" Gabby requests to the cashier lady. Her name tag says Mandy. She wasn't too bad looking either. Or order was ready and Ethan and I carried the trays to the table where the girls were sitting. How gentleman like of us. Right as I set the tray down, everyone immediately starting digging in. I grab my two cheeseburgers and my large fry and sit next to Gabby. She didn't kick me out which was good. I saw Ethan glare at me... he probably wasn't too to happy having to sit by Gianna. I decided to make conversation by asking Gabby where this party is taking place tomorrow. "Well this guy in our school is really rich and has his own mansion so he's having a party". "OH AND I'VE EVEN HEARD HE HAS THIS HUGE IN GROUND POOL WITH A SLIDE AND TWO DIFFERENT SIZED DIVING BOARDS" Gia buts in. "HE EVENS HAS A HAND PIANO AND A  BASKETBALL COURT". This literally sounds like the coolest party ever. I had to go, maybe I can even win over Gabby's heart.

    We all finished up our food and started I way back home. We dropped off Gianna at her house because her parents were finally home I guess. We arrive back at Ethan's and Gabby's house and we ran inside as soon as it started to downpour.
    Wet or dry Gabby still looked like a goddess.

Gabby's POV.

    I trot up the stairs and slide in my room while closing the door. I strip off my clothing and walk into my bathroom hopping into the shower. The hot water felt good against my tanned skin. I've always admired having olive toned skin, some people would kill to have my skin tone. I start singing my favorite song into you by Ariana Grande while putting shampoo in my hair and rinsing it out shortly after. I then pour basically half the bottle of conditioner in my long brown hair. I let it sit for a couple of minutes, so I decided to reshave my legs. I rinsed the conditioner or of my hair and hop out of the shower feeling the cool air against my bare body.
    I stood in the mirror for awhile taking in all my perfections, I didn't have a single flaw... At least that I know of. I grab my soft pink towel and wrap it around my now damp body. Waking out of my bathroom I let out a shriek when I saw someone sitting on my bed.
    "Sorry to scare you Gabby, I was waiting for you to come out" Cameron states "I wanted to ask you something". I told him okay but next time come before I showered.
    I felt Cameron's eyes on me while I tip toed to my dresser and pulled out a matching pair off bra and panties. I grab my silk pajamas and go back into my bathroom to change. I was very curious on what Cameron wanted to ask me. It was probably about the party again. I walk out and see Cameron now laying on my bed, I couldn't help but stare he was just so gorgeous. "Okay what do you want Cameron"? I said bluntly. "I- I just w-wanted t-to ask y-you if you wanted to c-come to dinner with me sometime". Okay that was not about the party. "Yes of course I'd love to have dinner with you".
    I can't believe he just asked me out on a date. Cameron fucking Dallas. Maybe he isn't mad at me after all.

Next chapter will be what happens at the party. It's going to be crazy.
