  "Your new volunteer is here." I've think they've seen magic before. I pulled out the mirror. "Mirror, mirror in my hand. Take me to a new land." Didn't work. Evie must have put something on it. "Beware forswear take me out of here." I was in front of my grandmas house. Walked away from there. I snapped my fingers and a spell book popped in my hands. I found a tree to sit in. I heard a car pull up. And saw that woman get out. With a another girl from earlier. Thought nothing of it. Ten minutes later. "Ginny Mayweather Gothel come out of that tree now." It was my mom and she wasn't happy. I jumped down to see myself face to face with her. "Where were last night?" "Like it's any of your business. I'm fine aren't I." I don't know but when I drink. I get so much courage it's ridiculous. "You know I'll be speaking to your father about this." My eyes widened. "Don't tell dad. Please anyone but dad." "You will go down there with these nice women. And if I hear anything about you being disrespectful. You are in so much trouble it's not even funny. And no magic." "What come on no magic. You have to be joking?" She wasn't. "Fine I'll see you later." They took me to the car. I didn't say word I was mad as heck. "Oh Naveen will be so happy we have a new worker. Do you know to measure things honey?" "Nope I always skipped math class. Wait did you say Naveen?" Crap. "Yeah why do ask." "No reason." It's not like you hate my dad with your guts. "Who's your father dear?" Not a word came out of my mouth. "Okay of I tell you your probably going to push me out of this moving vehicle." "Go ahead we'll try not to." "Well um. It's the voodoo man." I went to tuck position. "I thought he was still on the Isle." "Well after Ben's coronation. He somehow knock some since into his dad. And now all 'villains' are off now. Including my parents." "Who's your mother?" "The woman you meet today. That's Gothel well that's her last name." Absolutely no answer. "Just to let you know I don't practice voodoo. I'm not allowed. Last time I tried it. I had nightmares for months. Why am I talking?  I'm sorry I'll shut up." I sat there quietly. But then I realized I had been in these clohes for more than twenty four hours. I looked through my book. Hair no, nose no, clothes perfect. I'll change them when I get to the bathroom. It's been a couple of hours. My hang over has disappeared. I think I should apologize. "Excuse me." I tapped on the woman shoulder. She turned around and looked at me. "Well I want to apologize for earlier. I was still a bit tipsy. And the hang over wasn't helping. I'm not myself when I drink." That was a lie. "Well your forgiven. But I hear anymore back talk from you. I will not haziate to get a switch. How old are you?" "Fifthteen." "And you sneak out. Party, and hang out with no one your age." "Wait how do you know that?" "Louis told me. Oh to make you aware. He is a alligator." "I knew it wasn't the vodka and the brandy talking. I should really watch what I mix together." Did I really say that out loud. It was silent the rest of the way. When we got there and went in. The food smelled so good. The alligator came up to me. "You really know what the word party means." "Thanks." "But the way I'm Louis. I play in the band here." "Cool do you have any idea what I'll be doing?" "Not a clue. Oh hey Tia." "Hey Louis I see you've meet Ginny." "She seems nice." I'm right here.  I looked around. Everything is so pretty. Unlike the Isle. "Come on Ginny I'll show you what you will be doing. The time your here."

  She brought me to the back of the kitchen. "Your on dish duty. Your hours are from ten- to six. I don't like people being late. I allowed no magic and no under age drinking. And by the way I'm Tiana." She left me. There were so many dishes to do. Outside I could hear people laughing and music playing. I sneaked my phone back. And put my earbuds in. It wasn't my phone in the first place. But it had some decent songs. "Staring at the blank page before you." I started to sing. "The rest is still unwritten." When I have music I disappear from the real world. It's like it's help take away my problems. After doing this for hours. I looked at the clock. It was six. I could finally go. I left through the back door. I knew I was in trouble from last night. So I decided to go back to the park.

  "Hey Ginny." "Hi Matthew. Can you do me a favorite?" "Yeah anything." "Can you walk me back to my grandmas? If I go back I will probably get kill. I just need you to be a witness." He laughed. "Sure thing gets go." We walked all the way back. I knocked on the door and my dad opened it. "Hi dad I'm back." I had Matthew stand somewhere no could see them. "Come on we need to have a talk." He took me to his and moms room. My mom was standing by the bookshelf. "Okay first thing how was work?" "I'm tired and I want to go to bed." "Good. Second your punishment. When your here. You will be in our sight every minute. When we get back your grounded for the rest of the summer." I groaned. "Off to bed. Goodnight sweetheart." "Good night." I walked in the room I was supposed to be sleeping in. I heard Freddie laughing from downstairs. Perfect chance to escape. I put on new clothes. Tied the sheets together and climbed down. Thank goodness Matt was still down there. "Hey me and a bunch of people want to head out to Mama Odie place. Wanna come?" "Sure let's go." We travelled through the bayou. Already have like three beers. "You go." "No you do it. You have voodoo powers." "Fine. But don't get scared." After saying that my eyes turned purple. And my shadow started to move on its own. "Go inside. Don't go near the fire." It was gone. "Remind me not to make you mad." I pulled out Evie's mirror. "Mirror, mirror in my hand. Show me where's the king lies." It worked.

  "Why won't you talk to your mother. She loves you that's why she stayed away. So you would never get upset." I decided to do something nice. "Beware, forswear send one letter. To show how much she cares." At that time my shadow came back. "Matthew. If that's you. You are in so much trouble." "Please don't tell me that's  Tiana ." "How do you know my mom?" "I'm stuck working for her." I poofed myself out of there. And found myself sleeping in my bed at my grandmothers. The next morning I woke up to the smell of bacon. I looked at the clock. Eight thrity. Perfect.  

   "Hey look who finally got up." Felix started to clap for me. "Yeah not funny." I sat down and pulled out my phone. Matt sent me a text. Had fun last night I'll see you at work. ;). That made me smile. "How was work yesterday?" Freddie asked putting a piece of bacon in her mouth. "It was extremely boring." I wasn't hungry. But I didn't want to be disrespectful. I need more sleep. Yeah more sleep. So I think I can take a power nap. "Sweetie get up. Your going to be late for work." It's was my mom's voice. I didn't open my eyes. Just groaned. "It's nine forty five." Crap. I lifted my head up and saw most of my food was smashed. "Let me wipe that off. You know you slept in your food." "Yeah I think I have a piece of hash browns in my nose."

"You're late." I knew I was going to get scolded. I started talking but I yawned. "Sorry about that. But I was going to on time. But I fell asleep in my food." "Because you were out with my son last night." "Who's Matt I never met a Matt before." "I didn't say Matt. So you do know my son. For how long?" "Two nights the first night I got here and last night." Crap, crap. "So your the girl he's been texting. So if you two are dating we should have dinner with your parents. How about five here." Before I could say anything she walked away. I had to find him. He was sitting at a table sleeping. "Matt we have a problem." "What what's wrong?" "Okay your mom thinks we're dating. And age wants to have dinner here tonight with my parents." "What's so bad about that?" "Well let's to say my dad turned them to frogs. Dont even get me started about my mom." "Okay I'll see what I can do about it. I'll see you at lunch." He kissed my cheek. Ok are we dating I'm confused.
