“HE IS AFTER ME, AGAIN! HE IS GOING TO KILL ME!!” shouted a little mech that was rapidly zooming through the hallway where the other mechs were inside their cabins resting but were startled by all the commotion that was going on, they went to check out what it was. “It’s just Tailgate, again.” One mech groaned who is in between the abundant crowd of angry and annoyed mechs that were going to hurt Tailgate, this wasn’t the first time this had happen. It happened very regularly, since Tailgate is a coward and he isn’t very tall, kind of like three feet and a half –which is pretty short in the case of the whole Lost Light crew, they were three times his size and that they were going to beat him up.- Everyone began to crowd Tailgate and corner him. “Whoa! What are you guys doing?! I said that I’m in danger!” shouted Tailgate once more. The rest of the others were laughing at the pathetic little mech, “Ha! You will be in danger soon enough!” Said Whirl, who was all away in the back shouting and waving his claws side to side. “WH-what did I do?” Tailgate said with a trembling voice, backing away from everyone until he bumped into Rodimus Prime –the leader of the Lost Light crew.- “What is going on here?!” Rodimus said with a tough attitude. Everyone grew silent even Swerve –the chatterbox didn’t even made a peep of a sound- “Will anyone tell me?” “I can.” Tailgate whispered to Rodimus’ audio receptor, “I kind of got into a fight with…ermm...” Tailgate’s words were beginning to fade away till he couldn’t talk. “Don’t tell me. I think I know who…” Rodimus always knew who it was, since Tailgate can’t really keep his own secrets to himself. Suddenly, a tall, evil-looking mech came marching towards Tailgate with an axe, “I told you to get out till you had your chance!” the tall purple mech had horns, one of them were broken off during the war –that was millions of deca-cycles ago- and he sort of looks like a samurai with a skull like helm. “CYCLONUS!” Tailgate shouted and screamed as if he was being torn apart by a beast and hid behind Rodimus for protection. “Cyclonus, calm down. Whatever Tailgate did or did not do couldn’t cause that much trouble…could it?” Rodimus tilted his helm to the side in perplexed. Cyclonus didn’t answered him, but simply just handed him the axe, turned around to avoid looking at Tailgate and Rodimus, and simply said, “Give this to Drift.” Later on everyone had scattered away throughout the ship trying to avoid Rodimus, whenever there is Rodimus there will be Ultra Magnus –safety chief patrol and second in command- to go around complaining about their actions and blaming everyone for their mistakes.

Rodimus looked at the axe carefully, but he notices that there is no signs of the axe belonging to Drift since he always prints his name on everything that he owns. Rodimus went to the auditorium where Chromedome –the tallest member of the crew who is also a mnemosurgeon, who can read everyone’s memories and also live out through there death, which seemed gruesome since it is hard to kill a transformer-, then there was also Rewind –Chromedome’s partner or even friend, you could say. He is a diminutive archivist, who records everything that had happen in the past. Meaning, Rewind is older than a thousand years- and then there you could see Ultra Magnus standing next to them observing if they do anything wrong or stupid. You could tell that Ultra Magnus wasn’t in a good mood since he had his arms cross, a stern look on his face and he didn’t even bother to look at Rodimus. “Ultra Magnus…have you seen Drift? I’ve been looking for him.” “Why would you be looking for a traitor?” Ultra Magnus said in a harsh scornful tone as if he hated Drift, which was true. He hated Drift and wishes to outcast him from the Lost Light. “Ermm…Ultra Magnus are you upset?” Rodimus couldn’t believe that Ultra Magnus seemed to be kind of jealous of Drift, which he wasn’t really, he just thought that Drift could still be a decepticon and that he might betray the autobots that can nearly ruin everyone’s life. Ultra Magnus knew that there was something weird about Drift, he knew that Drift is a traitor, and he knows that Drift is hiding something from Rodimus, since Ultra Magnus always spots Drift alone in the ship’s control room snooping around looking for something. “Haven’t you notice that Drift is never around, Rodimus.” “Well, of I course I notice that, but he has a good reason for disappearing…in search of the Knights of Cybertron.” Ultra Magnus stressfully sighs. “Oh Rodimus…Drift is tricking you to believe that they exist which is obvious that they don’t.” Rodimus began to ponder and ponder and he suddenly realizes that everything seems to add up and that Ultra Magnus was right. The only question that was left was ‘where was Drift?’ Rodimus’ optics widen and he may have found out where Drift goes to every time…the DJD group. “Rewind! Can I burrow Chromedome for a minute?” “Sure? I would ask why, but you don’t seem O.K.” Rewind notices that Rodimus seems to be panicking, so maybe he thought he could tag along in the action. “Only if I could come.” Rodimus didn’t really had much time to think, he just nodded his helm and went to go look for more mechs to help, Chromedome and Rewind tagged along, still not sure what is going since Rodimus didn’t gave them a clue. Rodimus went to where Perceptor was –a scientist- and Brainstorm –his fanboy assistant who is annoying and very protective of a briefcase that he has chain on his hand. Others had asked him before what is inside but he would say ‘something that can kill us all.’ Everyone thought that he was stupid since the briefcase is dangerous, why would he carry it around with him-. They were working on a cure for the Red Rust disease. “Perceptor are you busy with something important?” “Yes, but you may take Brainstorm with you. He is really getting on my nerves…” Perceptor was trying to concentrate on his work, but it was too much pressure since Rodimus couldn’t shut up for a few seconds from a panic attack. “Alright. Brainstorm your with me.” Rodimus replied, still thinking that Brainstorm won’t be much as use as Perceptor would have been. ”Now where is Skids? Mmm… Any ideas? Anyone?” “He told me that he was going to be at the oil pit.” Chromedome blurted out loud as if he couldn’t be heard. “Ok. Thanks.” Rodimus quickly rushed to the oil pit, which was located at the lowest part of the ship. He was going too fast speeding throughout the ship that Chromedome, Rewind and Brainstorm couldn’t catch up. Rodimus finally makes it to the oil pit, “Skids? Where are you?! I need your help.” However, Skids was nowhere to be found. Then Rung came out of nowhere from behind Rodimus. “Rodimus?” Rung slowly reached to touch Rodimus’ shoulder, still not noticed. “Gah! Get away from me!” Rodimus quickly turned around and sucker punch Rung’s face, Rung quickly collapsed on the floor on conscious. Rodimus just realizes it was Rung, he could have say sorry but it seems that he really knocked out Rung out cold. Chromedome, Rewind and Brainstorm overheard the pitiful scream that came from the oil pit and they rushed on their way to check out what it was. “Rodimus? Are you okay?” Chromedome said out loud but the only thing that was heard were his echoes that were heard from the oil pit. The only thing that Chromedome, Rewind and Brainstorm notice was Rung who had been knocked out, “Rung?! What happen to you? Weren’t you with Whirl?” Brainstorm blurted out, it seem that his questions will never end since he was clueless. “What happen? How did you end up here? By the way…WHERE’S WHIRL?!” Brainstorm began to panic since no one knows what Whirl is actually capable of –destruction, terror, a mob, or even worse wreckers who are just like him!- Well there was no answer for Brainstorm’s questions since he had more, until Rewind told a long response which did answer Brainstorm’s question, but it left him perplex that he had dazed off. “Well if Rung is here…where is Rodimus?” Chromedome said while looking at the oil pit, thinking that something had gone wrong. A few minutes pass and Rung started to wake up, “huhh...?” no words came out clearly, he just murmured and groan with pain. –Rung is a timid psychiatrist of the Lost Light ship, he was needed a lot since every mech on the ship were suicidal, sociopath, or stupid but sometimes they are all in one. He was average size for a weak mech that wasn’t meant for fighting since he can’t really defend himself and gets nearly killed or used as bait only when he is on a mission with Rodimus- “Rung your alive!?” Rewind answered with astonishment. “Why do you seem so surprise, Rewind?” Rung answered weakly and rubbed his helm tilting his helm by the side. “Oh. Well…because you are very easy to kill, only with one shot through the spark. BANG! You’re dead.” Rewind pretend to make his hands into a gun and aimed at Rung pretending to shoot him through the spark. “BANG! BANG! BANG! Now you are dead, weakling. Hehehe...” Rewind was trying to mess around with Rung’s mind, trying to scare him a bit. However it seemed too much for Rung to handle, since he curled himself up on the floor as if he was an armadillo. “Rung. I was just teasing you. The only way to kill you is by ripping your helm off and feed you to the Sparkeater.” Rewind gave a friendly smile, not knowing that Rung felt afraid as if Rewind wants him to die. He really didn’t. “Rewind! Quit messing around with Rung.” Chromedome scold at Rewind for being foolish. “But he is bound to die, Domey.” Rewind said quickly as if he knew what to say next. No one spoke a word after that. Brainstorm finally comes back to his senses, “What did I miss?” No one bothered to answer his question they just kept on searching for Rodimus, who could still be here in the oil pit, maybe. “Skids!! Are you here!!?” Meanwhile, Rodimus was already too far from the others to be heard and was wandering around the ship’s engine. Then he sees Red Alert –ship’s security officer who is always paranoid with every little spec of detail- “Rodimus. Hello. What brings you here?” Red Alert said calmly, which was surprising to Rodimus. “Oh hello Red Alert, have you seen Skids? By the way you seem…calm for a reason…that I wouldn’t care actually.” Rodimus mumbled the last few words so Red Alert couldn’t hear him. “Well I saw Skids a few seconds ago looking for Rung.” Red Alert was calm but he is actually paranoid that there is a beast in the Lost Light ship, which is hiding inside someone’s cabin, Tailgate’s cabin. No one knows about it, only him, he thought of telling Ultra Magnus but he doesn’t want to get in trouble. Since he was in charge of knowing who will be aborting the Lost Light. “Well…okay. Thanks and by the way I think there is something or someone who is inside the ship, but I don’t know who. If I were you I would keep an eye on who or what seems suspicious.” Rodimus told Red Alert whispering. Red Alert optic widen and grew nervous hoping that no one will find out that it was his fault. “Okay, s-sir.” Red Alert nodded and walked past threw Rodimus as if he saw a ghost. Rodimus shrugged, thinking that it’s normal. He hears shooting and yelling, he knew who it was. “Whirl? Skids?!...What are you guys doing here?!” Rodimus got angry that he went all around looking for Skids, instead he was outside the ship with Whirl, shooting at stars. “Gah! Rodimus!” Whirl’s one eyed optic widen with fear, since he was band to go outside for what had happen last time. –Whirl accidentally sent Atomizer, an archer warrior, into space. He couldn’t save him since he couldn’t hold on the handle of the pod that Atomizer was in. Whirl didn’t had hands, he has claws instead- Whirl backed away a bit and lowered his helm towards the ground to not look at Rodimus’ rage. “Oh…hello Rodimus.” Skids said with a simple blank look at Rodimus. “Skids I need you for a mission. Can you come with me?” Rodimus reached out his hand for a deal, however, Skids shook his helm for no. “If you want me to join…Whirl comes along, too.” Rodimus sigh in disbelief “Uff…alright, but I don’t want to see Whirl getting into fight with the others!” Whirl crossed his arms and pouted, “Pshh… Like I would cause harm.” “Yes, you do. It happens every time on a mission!” Rodimus got annoyed by Whirl’s stupidity and arrogance. “Whirl, I have to admit. Your creators have really done a good job on making you look like a piece of-““Rodimus! Didn’t you wanted my help?!” Skids blurted out. Rodimus didn’t responded, he simply just led Skids and Whirl to the others, who were still at the oil pit lost. Rung spots Rodimus from a far distance, “Hey! I see Rodimus, Skids…and Whirl?” Brainstorm gulped, grew nervous every minute Whirl came closer. Whirl is actually a nightmare to every scientist, since he is uncoordinated, rude and loves to make fun of the weak, which were Perceptor, Tailgate, Rewind and Brainstorm. “Rodimus, ermm…why did you bring Whirl along? Wasn’t he band for what had happened to Atomizer?” Chromedome whispered to Rodimus behind Whirl’s back. “I was force to…” Rodimus groaned. Whirl turned around and scold at Chromedome, “You do know that I am right here!” Whirl said angrily and bumped Chromedome’s helm aggressively. Chromedome didn’t reacted much, he simply just grabbed Whirl by the helm and threw him against the ship’s wall. “Ow.” Whirl rubbed his helm and growled at Chromedome. Chromedome ignored him and went to pick up Rewind and set him on his shoulders. –Rewind was as small as Tailgate- “Alright everyone. You may be thinking why I have brought you all here and why I need you all…well not all of you.” Rodimus looked directly at Whirl and Brainstorm, he really didn’t needed them. Even though Rung wasn’t needed he knew that Whirl and Brainstorm will be used as bait. “We are all gather here because one of our crew members went missing.” “Was it Trailbreaker? Sunstreaker? Sideswipe?” Brainstorm interrupted Rodimus’ little speech. “Could you please let me finish, Brainstorm!” Rodimus punched the wall and left a dent. “Oh well I am sorry Rodimus. I didn’t knew that this rescue mission was someone who you really care about.” Rodimus’ optic twitches. “I don’t care about them…I just simply have to look out for everyone’s safety.” “Who is missing by the way?” Rewind asked, who was still on Chromedome’s shoulder. “Drift.” Rodimus said solemnly. “Awe. Isn’t that sweet. Rodimus cares about the ex-con, Drift.” Whirl was teasing and making fun of Rodimus, again. “What are you trying to say?” Rodimus clenched his fist towards Whirl’s faceplate. Rung came in between to break up the argument, “This is no time for fighting.” Whirl walked away furiously and shoved Chromedome’s shoulder, where Rewind was. Rewind nearly lost his balance, but Chromedome was in time to pick him up. “Thanks, Domey.” Chromedome didn’t answered back, he just stared at Whirl as if he knew there is something not right going on.
