"FUCKIN ZOMB'S!!!"

They keep getting in the Fuckin way! Here I am swerving again! But I had made good progress, for here I was, racing around the block, and pulling into the school.

It was much quieter here. A couple walkers, but nothin i cant handle. I parked close to the alley side, carefully parking next to Wades dark blue jeep. The trailer took up the space behind me.

I dropped all weapons off me except a small switchblade, throwing evreything else in the back seat.

I opened the door, all to aware of how precious my life was. I held the knife in a ready position.

The few walkers that were there, shuffled towards me. I finished two, and left 3 others to amble around.

Tucking the knife in my pocket, I headed towards building 10, all the way on the other side of the school, for thats where max's class was. He had Mrs.B, just like I had before I left.

By the time I got there, I was already extremley suspicious. I had not encountered one person since my trek inside. Where the fuck was evreyone? Tucked away in the classrooms? That wouldn't be surprising, after all, there was zombies(walkers) everywhere. Why wouldn't they cower In fear?

Apparently so, because I could see the panicking students through the glass part of the door. But was max there? I mean maybe he'd tried to escape? My stomach dropped at the thought that he was gone.

I opened the door and poked my head in. Nobody noticed me though, for they were all either, screaming and shouting at each other or they were screaming and shouting into their phones. I saw max with his head down, 2 desks away from me. My stomach felt better.

I walked in and tapped him on the shoulder."Max!" I hissed in his ear.

He jumped, looking straight at me, rearing back.

"sorry!" I whispered.

"Katie! What are you doing here? Is it true what their saying you did?"

"huh?" what were they saying i did?

"That you hopped the brick wall?"

"ummm....yeah, I did." He heard about that? I felt sooooo embaressed.

"FOR REALZ?!? wh-......."max's voice got all quiet,"are those...actual zombies out there?"

I REALLY didn't want to deal with this right now. All i wanted to do was get him and all my other freinds out and safe.

"Mmmm...yeah but before I explain everything we have to get somewhere safe!"

Max looked down,"o-kay, but I gotta Jared."

"Alright, but I was already getting Jarerd anyways."

He nodded,"lets get going!"
