Helga's P.O.V

At first, I had thought Arnold was sick or something. He was using one to two word answers and kept staring at something angrily out of the corner of his eye.

"Are you serious? There's obviously something wrong with you." I crossed my arms.

"There's nothing wrong with me! Alright?" He said angrily as he threw his hands up in the air.

Wow. When Arnold got frustrated it was actually kind of - hot.

I scowled at him, pushing the thought aside.
"I was just looking out for you." I stood up with my tray, about to move until he caught hold of my arm.

"Sorry. I'm being really inconsiderate." He frowned and looked at the floor.

I sat down again, satisfied. "Thank you."

"I guess I was just kind of-"

"Kind of what?" I questioned.

"I was kind of jealous." He sighed. I smiled a little bit, although I didn't understand.

"You we jealous of me? For real?" I chuckled. "Why would you ever be jealous?"

He sighed, looked down at the floor and shuffled his feet.

"If I told you, you'd probably think that I'm really stupid." He looked at me expressionless, his pupils swirling in his eyes.

"I already think you're stupid. What have you got to lose?" I laughed and so did he.

"Well..." He trailed off. "Don't get mad..."

I nodded.

"It's just that, you've been hanging out with that Micheal guy a lot, and he's always flirting with you. That's all." He shrugged. I started to laugh, which confused him.

"You are such a stalker I swear." I was uncontrollably laughing which made him send me a sexy smile. "Why would I ever cheat on you? I'm like, the luckiest girl in the world."

"You're just saying that." He blushed, turning away from me.

"No really. I mean it." We intertwined fingers and he squeezed my hand.

"Okay. I believe you." He smiled.

Arnold was in my seventh period, unfortunately Micheal was also in that class, and even after our talk I could still see Arnold's eyes flicker in his direction every once in awhile.

Mrs. Rasambi, our algebra teacher, said to split into partner groups.

Arnold shuffled in my direction like a speeding Porsche. I then guessed he wanted to be my partner, just maybe.

Micheal asked if I wanted to be partners, obviously meaning he hadn't seen Arnold.

"Sorry, I'm already partnered with Arnold." I pointed to him, and he had his arms crossed and I could tell he was trying his best to not choke Micheal out.

"That's alright," he pointed to me and winked, and a flood of girls followed behind him all wanting eagerly to be his partner.
