-Idris's POV-

I was sitting in my chair at the table of my colleague witches, debating when to next attack Anthony, Ian, and Samantha. The next was hopefully going to stop her for good. But, unfortunately, my colleagues think this is a time to catch up, talk about what they were doing next weekend. While I was sitting there twiddling my thumbs, I got a huge feeling that something bad was happening. I stood up and everyone went silent.

"Idris, what is wrong?" Maximilian, a tall, handsome, short, black haired wizard inquired, worry in his tone.

That's when I started freaking out, "No! No! SHE GOT AWAY!" And I rushed out of the hall and down flights of stairs to see Rachael and Joey running across the front hall. They saw me and immediately stopped.

"Joey!" I called out to him from the stairs, "What are you doing?"

He just stared at me, interlocking his fingers with Rachael and disappearing with her. I stomped my foot in defeat and stomped down the rest of the stairs. At the top of my lungs, I started casting out a curse that would for sure teach Rachael her lesson...

-Anthony's POV-

As Sam was telling us this story of the past lives Hecox and I lived, I suddenly got a weird frequency humming in my ear. I tried my best to keep focus, but I couldn't ignore it. And then I started to hear voices. Deep, scary voices, telling me:

"Kill yourself...kill yourself...KILL YOURSELF!!!"

I stood up randomly and walked away, starting up the stairs. That's when I heard Sam call out to me, "Anthony? Where are you going?"

I looked over my shoulder and replied, "Oh, nowhere..." And I started back up the stairs. I walked into the bedroom where I would bring Rachael to um...well, I'm not going to go into detail. I walked over to my desk and opened the drawer where I kept my gun.

I've never been one to pull out the gun when it comes to fighting in combat, it was for...I don't know, maybe ransacking towns and claiming new territory. I picked it up and checked that it was loaded, of course it was.

I moved the gun up to my head and held the gun against my temple. My hand shaking and my heart beating a mile a minute. I felt like I had no control over my body. And I couldn't help but know what was going to happen next.

Again, the voices rang in my head even louder, "Kill yourself...kill yourself...KILL YOURSELF!!!"

My finger lingered near the trigger, I was doing my best to resist it. But my finger suddenly wrapped around it and pulled.

-Rachael's POV-

Joey and I appeared right outside of the castle I used to be imprisoned in. I wiped off my dress and looked at Joey.

"What do you plan to do now? And we can't go back to the witch world because Idris is going to kill us the minute she sees us, okay? So you better fucking know what you're doing," He retorted angrily.

I sighed, "We have to warn Sam and..." I suddenly felt a piece of me...I don't know...die off. I clutched my heart and stared at the ground.

"Rach?" Joey asked, waving his hand in my face as I fell to my knees, "Rach!"

I looked up at him, "I...I don't feel him anymore."

"Who anymore?"

"Ant...Anthony," I murmured, tears starting to form in my eyes, "I...I can't feel him. I can't feel him! What...what....what does that mean?"

He looked away from me, starting to whistle.

"Why won't you answer me!?!" I shouted, standing up from the ground. I could feel myself get angry. And burn up. And the dirty white dress I wore evolved into the black, ember one and the ends of my blonde hair turned dark brown.

He looked at me and gulped, "Calm down, Rach. I..."

"TELL ME WHAT'S HAPPENING!" I shouted.

He put his fingers up to my lips, "Shh! Look, even though they..." He pointed into the castle where the walls flicked a warm, inviting yellow-orange color, "....can't see us or hear us all that well, if you're loud enough, we'll get noticed."

I swatted his finger away and crossed my arms. We had a stare down until I cracked and started to cry again, "I can't feel him..." I moaned as sadness filled inside of me.

"Maybe his curse is broke!" He opted to suggest. I shook my head, that didn't seem right. He sighed, "Look, we need to tell them," He said, getting back on trach, "How do you plan on doing this?"

"Leave a message on the wall!" I told him, picking up my burning dress, which was slowly turning back into my prisoner one. I rushed inside and up to the wall opposite to the one where Ian and Sam were sitting around a fire, looking around. I wondered where Anthony was. Joey stood over his sister, looking at her with regret, sorrow even.

I raised my hand and began to write the note, but the blank ink that once wrote on the wall with the slight movement of my hand transformed into a bright crimson red color. I stumled back, scared, "J-J-J-Joey?" I turned around and saw his eyes widen, "W-w-what's happening?"

"You're dying," He said, walking up to me and gulping, "And I think it has to do with you not being able to sense Anthony anymore."
