(Narrator P.O.V)

A Year had passed since Shirone had become a part of the Hyoudou family. She was adjusting to her new life extremely well. Issei continued to train his body, upping the intensity of his workout in order to increases his stamina reserves so he could better utilize the Boosted Gear's power more efficiently. During one of his workout secession Shirone came to him and asked Issei to teach her how to fight so she could better defend herself and not be a burden to him. Issei quickly rebuffed her statement saying that she is not a burden at all. Issei accepts her request and she becomes both his training and sparring partner.

(Flashback)

Within the forest Issei and Shirone standing in front of each other .Issei was wearing a  red training gi with a black sash tied around his waist. On his back there was a kanji for Rise (上昇) engraved on the back of his gi. The second one was Shirone with Nekotama features released. She wore a loose blue kimono with a yellow sash around her waist. There was a small hole on the bottom of her kimono to accommodate her tail.  Issei was currently teaching Shirone about Ki .

"So in other words, Ki is the manifestation of your life force."

"Correct." replied Issei " It can used in a wide variety of ways such as..." Issei suddenly disappeared.

"!?" She felt his hand on her shoulder

"Enhanced Speed" he replied from behind her. He turned his head to a boulder and disappeared once more

*Boom* the boulder exploded

"Enhanced Strength" He replied with his fist stretched out. He disappeared again.

"?!" She looked around her , expanding her senses, trying to find him and not succeeding

"Up Here Shirone!" a familiar voice replied mischievously

She looked up

*Gasp* She gasped in shock at what she saw before her eyes

Right before her eyes, she saw Issei floating in the air, with a mischievous smirk on his face

"Flight" Issei began to fly around in circles "Pretty cool huh?"

He slowly floated down until he was back on the ground with Shirone "And that's just the start; I got most of these ideas from Drag so Ball, and other video games that my parents gave me such as Street Brawler."

"Wow.." Shirone was amazed" Does this mean I could do the same as well?" She asked

"I know you can." Issei said with a smile on his face.  He placed his hand on her forehead " Now Hold still. I'm gonna jump start your Ki with my Ki." He became enshrouded in a bluish-white aura and he began to focus it into Shirone's body.
