Authors Note:I decided that the Pre-Kyoto arc will broken down into three chapters. Please Enjoy. Through most of the chapter Issei and Shirone will be referring to each as their Codenames

Byakko landed a small distance away from where the Devils's energy was coming from. Ryu landed right behind her.

"Is this the place?" Ryu asked

"Yes" She replied not looking back at him"It is definitely their energy, There's no way I could forget  remembe when they..."She caught off guard by Ryu embracing her from behind warmly

"It's alright now" He whispered softly to her" You are not the same girl from before, You are Shirone a member of the Hyoudou family, and I am here to fight by your side. We're in this together. Never Forget That."

Tears began slowly flow down from her cheeks"Thanks Ryu, I really needed that" She turned to him with tears flowing down her cheeks.

They were interrupted by a sudden flare up of one of the Devil's energy. They got closer to the scene and were shocked at the sight before them

There were a small of group of Devils 4 in total were cornering a girl about the same age as Shirone.The girl was wearing a tattered miko outfit with white tabi.She had golden blonde hair that was stained in mud.  The young girl was that she had nine golden tails and had fox ears that matched her tails. The girl had a look of terror etched upon her face.

"Stay away!"

*Poom*

The young girl shouted and this time, she pushed both of her hands forward and created a small fire ball.

*Pa!*

One of the Devils smacked the small fire ball away easily.

"Now that's just being rude."

The Devils was pissed off by her defiance.

"Its time for you to know your place."

"Do it quickly before her mother arrives!"

"I hear ya"

One of the Devils grabbed the girl in her neck. Suffocating her.

He tightened his grip on the girl's neck, further restricting her breathing

"Don't worry I won't kill you. You aren't worth much dead. You will make a most excellent bargaining tool Princess"  He replied mockingly

'Can't breathe..Hahaue! Someone! Anyone! Please Help me !"
