superman
wearing a suit trying to save the world,
in our eyes he's a superman
trying to be a new iron man
trying to be another Captain America
trying to live up to the world standards
people try to value who we are
they make a list to see if we make the mark
they don't want us to have imperfection
they want us to be perfect like we are superman
superman tries to fly around the world and saves people
when he make a mistake his world will fall apart
people want to see his next move
we forget he's one of us
we think because he has powers, he doesn't act like one of us
he wears a suit and he is a superman in our eyes
his ambition is to save the world
we want to be like him to save the world
we look up to him
we forget that he is trying to suck us into living for the world
and not what our dreams are
we forget what reality is
we forget what's in ourself
we get wrap up living for this thing
and we end up powerless
And not looking up to Jesus
Cause he is superman
