If you are really confused about this book, well it's about the relationship between Marissa and Erick. It's Marissa's birthday and at school Valerie (the girl Marissa hates) tells Marissa have you heard what Savannah and Erick did? So she is trying to find out but Savannah (Marissa's bestfriend) keeps telling her that she never did anything with Erick and not to trust Valerie. Who should she trust Savannah her bestfriend or Valerie the person she hates?

As I was scrolling down my newsfeed I see one new message! It was from my best friend Savannah, she told me, ''Aren't you excited nine more minutes till you're birthday?'' I reply saying, ''Well kind of , it's not that special it's just one more year closer to death. She re ponds ''Oh cheer up, I'll message you later my mom is calling me down for dinner. '' I reply too her saying, ''Fine.'' As I lay down , I hear my favorite song start playing, ''Fall'' I start singing along. I stop singing because I hear my phone making noise. I run to it without even pressing pause.

It's Erick I swipe the button and he says ''Happy Birthday Babe, I love you and I hope you have a great day tomorrow'' with his hot deep voice. ''Watch I promise I will make it an amazing day for you , I promise!'' I get speechless and I start saying, " You're amazing babe , thank you'' ''He says tomorrow I'm gonna bring you somewhere special '' I say Okay babe and he says, '' I'll message you ok babe I love you princess don't ever forget that.'' I tell him ''I love you too my prince, '' I end the call and I notice that already fifty-four people posted ''Happy Birthday'' on my timeline. I say, ''Thank you'' to half of the people who said ''Happy Birthday'' and I hear ''Hold on we're going home'' playing on my Pandora. I listen to it and daydream.

I think, ''Where are we gonna go tomorrow?'' My cheeks turn rosy red.
