I walk down the sidewalk running my finger over the designs along the metal. Sighing, I make my way into the area of town with all the stores.
I keep my head low. People keep staring at me and I know it's because of the band. It made me uncomfortable. I keep walking till I reach the small park in the middle of town and settle myself on a bench.
Even though I know it's pointless, I try to make a stick lift and come to me. All that happens is the band burning my arm.
I sigh, close my eyes, lean my head back. I'll just stay here awhile, find a job later.
I sense someone sit next to me but I don't look over.
Without warning I feel the person gran my arm and my eyes fly open. I look at the person.
He looks about my age. He hangs his head down, blonde almost white hair hanging down into his face as he studies the armband.
I pull my arm away from him holding it close to my chest. His head comes up and emerald green eyes meet mine.
"I-I'm sorry. I-it's just..."
I roll my eyes.
"It's cool. And don't worry it really does work so there's no reason to fear."
I make my voice sarcastic. I look at the boy again.
He's hanging his head again and I hear him breathe out a sigh.
"I know it works," he looks back at me, "I made them."A/n: I know it's short but I wanted to leave it on a cliffhanger. Ha! Don't kill me.
