Andrews(hot guy) POV;
This morning I didn't expect to look into the most beautiful girl I've ever seen's eyes. Yet there she was sitting in the desk beside mine. She had her eyes down on her book the entire class, other then when Mrs. Terry told her to introduce herself in front of the class. The second the bell rang she had her headphones blaring music into her ears and she left the class. Was that Northlane she was listening to? She's into the same music as me then.. I need to know her, tomorrow though. Stupid friends dragging me out to skip school after one fucking class..
The next morning I waited impatiently for her to walk into class. Of course I didn't have to guts to talk to her.. Instead I just stared at her from my seat behind her thinking of how to say hi. Pathetic. Once again the bell rang and she left class right away, headphones in blaring music.
She wasn't in my period two class and I couldn't seem to spot her in the cafeteria at lunch.. I sat with my small group of friends. There was Alex, he was the vocalist of a band called Second Turn, melodic hardcore stuff mostly. There was Ashley, she's more into pop punk but she likes the hardcore scene too. I think Kailey and her would get along well.. Last but not least, Zak he's into pop punk too, best guitarist I know and skateboards far too much.
After the bell rang Alex and I made our way to third period. 5 minutes later she walked in.. I elbowed Alex, "Dude that's her." he looked over towards the door. "Shit shes in my second class. You were right though dude she gorgeous as fuck.. Look at her shirt, she's into Being As An Ocean. I love her already. Get her to sit with us". I looked at him and shook my head, "She won't. I wanna talk to her alone sometime." with that Alex got up and walked over to her. She had planted herself in the far corner of the room, a couple desks away.
"Hey wanna come sit with me and my friend over there?", I heard him ask her. She smiled but shook her head, "Maybe tomorrow? I just want to get caught up with what's going on today." Alex nodded at her and replied, "Yeah sounds good, I think you have first period with Andrew over there". She looked over at me and gave a small smile, I smiled back at her. She's too cute. Her bangs fell in her face as she looked down then she brushed them away with her fingers. God I'd kill to do that for her. What am I thinking? I just met her. I haven't even spoken to her yet. Alex strolled back and we talked about her the rest of class.
She ended up being in my fourth period class too. She sat in front of me but didn't say anything. She gave me a small smile after walking in again. Too cute. After class I walked out to my car. I noticed a bright red Lamborghini in the parking lot. A man wearing a dress shirt and black dress pants with a bit lengthy hair for someone dressed so nice stepped out and spoke to Kailey, "Want to drive sweety?". "Fuck yes I do!" she laughed back at him. That can't be her boyfriend... She ran to the drivers side and hugged the man, "Thanks dad you're the best!". Where have I seen him before...? She hopped in the car as he walked to the passenger side and got in as well. She carefully drove out of the parking lot before speeding off in the direction I was going.
I pulled out of the lot and headed home. Driving down my street I noticed the red Lamborghini.. Then her petting two dogs while talking to her dad. Holy fuck she does not live across the street. Dudes a fucking rich ass movie producer!! Alan's his name I think..
Now I really have to know her...
Kailey's POV;
My dad and I pulled into his driveway, our driveway.. I got out of the car and heard my new puppy Darko barking along with my dog Oreo who I brought from my moms. I opened the door and they both ran out and sat in front of me so I knelt down to pet them both. "I'm headed in, I have to make some phone calls. Let me know what you want for supper after. We can go out or stay in, up to you tonight." I nodded at him, "I'm gonna bring them for a walk for a bit. I'll be back in an hour tops" he nodded back at me and went into the house. Mom said we were alike, I'm starting to see it a little..
I ran in to grab the dogs leashes and walked out to that Andrew guy walking towards the house... What's he doing here..? "Hey neighbor" he casually said as he walked up to me. Neighbor? I repeated my thought out loud. He pointed directly across the street, "Yep, I live right there." I looked over at him and replied, "Oh cool, well uhm I'm off to walk my dogs now so uh see you at school..". As I started to walk away I heard him follow. "Mind if I join you? I can walk one of them if you'd like. What's their names?" .... I pointed to the white dog trotting ahead of us, "that's Oreo. She's a husky mix and the little guy here is Darko, he's a shepherd". "Like Donnie Darko....?" he asked in a surprised voice, I laughed, "yeah like Donnie.." he looked at me like I was crazy. "What?", had I done something wrong? "I've never met a girl who was into Donnie Darko before, sorry!" I laughed a bit again, "well now you have."
We continued on our walk and talked about school, what it was like back home, his friends... "Did you want a ride to school in the morning...?" Andrew looked at me cautiously like I'd snap at him or something.. Is that really how I come off as? "Yeah sure that'd be great instead of bugging my dad." I smiled at him and smiled back. We finally arrived back at our houses and I was feeling a little confident.. "Andrew? Did you want to come over for supper? I'm not sure what were having tonight but it should be good.." he looked at me like he couldn't believe I had asked him that.. "Yeah sounds good, I'm just gonna head home and change really quick okay? I'll be back in like 5" I nodded as he turned and walked across the street. I went inside and let the dogs loose before going to find my dad.
"Andrew from across the street is coming over for supper. Is that okay?" he was on the phone but smiled and mouthed the word 'yeah' to me. I waved and went to look online for a good take out place. After scrolling through a couple places I heard a knock on the door. He's here already, that was fast. Oh wait he lives across the street..
I got up from the island in the kitchen and walked to the door with the dogs trailing behind me. Stopping before opening the door I took a breath and pulled it open. "Hey, come on in", he smiled and stepped in before taking off his shoes and kneeling down to pet Oreo and Darko. "Good thing you showed up now, you can help me choose what to order for supper!" he laughed, "Well that means I can tell you the good places". I looked at him and smiled, then lead him to my laptop. He took control from there and opened different restaurants in tabs to help me decide. After the first couple sites my dad walked in, "hey sweetie, who's your friend?". Time to be nervous, "Uhm this is Andrew, we met at school today, three classes together.." he nodded, "Yeah everyone else at school don't care much for new people but I figured she'd need a couple friends so I'm introducing her to my group tomorrow." He smiled at me shyly. I thought I was the shy one here..
"Well isn't that kind of you! Have we decided where to eat tonight?" my dad said looking at the both of us, "my treat by the way". Andrew looked confused, as did I. "Dad, I thought we were ordering in?", "Not anymore, also I'm picking where were going. Put on your shoes let's get going!"
Me and Andrew looked at each other, "Hey might as well give your dads choice a chance". My dad smiled and walked out to the car. Andrew grabbed my hand and led me to our shoes. "..Sorry." he said looking down at our hands, I blushed, "Uhm it's okay.." We put on our shoes and walked out to see a black mustang convertible. "How many cars does your dad own...? I've lived across the street from him for years and I've seen one ever.." I laughed and started walking to the car, "I guess maybe he brings them in while you're at school?". I nodded at him and got into the car thinking about what I just got myself into by letting myself get close to this boy I barely know...
