Texting Maggie when I got back, I asked her how long she’s go be. She replied with a simple ‘soon’. Great! What am I going to do until ‘soon’ comes? Go for a run, Have a long shower, Find out what annoys Blake the most? Decisions. Decisions.

I chose to find out what annoys Blake the most. Running into my closet, I pulled out shoes that tap really loud, extra chewy bubblegum and my whistle. Putting the shoes on and everything else in my pocket, I set out to find Blake. Walking up and down stairs, making sure my shoes tap, until I found him. He was sitting in the games room watching the NFL. AFL is way better! Walking in, I tap my shoes really loudly pretending to get his attention.

“Yes Ellen, What do you want?” I asked, his eyes glued to the screen.

“I wanted to know if you liked my shoes. They are very pretty.” I replied in a sweet voice.

“They are great babe.” He wasn’t even looking at them.

“You’re not even looking at them.” I whined and pointed to my shoes that were tapping.

He sighed in defeat and looked at me. “There great.” Then he turned his head back and started to watch the TV again.

I stood there pretending to watch the NFL while tapping my feet and it wasn’t even bothering him. Damn it. Plan B, extra chewy bubblegum. Opening the packet and putting a piece into my mouth, I start to chew. Opening my mouth, I chew like a jersey cow and blow bubbles. He huffed in frustration. It must be working. Blowing a massive bubble, I popped it beside his ear.

“Ellen will you please stop doing that?” He sighed and ran his hand through his sandy blonde hair.

“What, is it annoying you?” I replied smugly.

“For a matter of fact it is, so can you please go somewhere else and chew.” He said and looked at the TV.

Pretending to sigh in defeat, I walked out. Once I was out, I pulled off my shoes, so they wouldn’t make any noise, and did my happy dance.

In the middle of my happy dance, my phone vibrated. I ignored it and finished my dance. Once finished, I pulled out my phone and looked at my messages. One from Maggie. Yay!

Ellen, I’m finally here. Meet me outside.

I smiled. The fun can begin. I replied:

Let’s Hunt!

And walked towards the entrance. As soon as I got outside, I spotted Maggie leaning against the wall.

“Let’s roll Maggie.” I said as I walked to her.

“Okay, but first I have to go to my room.” She replied picking up her bag from the ground. I just nodded and followed her to her room.

We soon arrived at her room, number 5. Walking in, the room felt smaller than my room.

“How big is this room?” I asked.

“It’s smaller than the room higher up if that’s what your really asking.” She rolled her eyes.

“I can get you a bigger room if you want. You can have my old room because all I have to do is ask Blake.” I shrugged and her eyes lit up.

“You would really do that for me Ellen.” I asked hopefully.
