It's been six months since everything has happened and since then we've moved out of our home into a new one out in the countryside away from the concrete jungle called the city, as well as getting away from the beauty pageants. The beautiful green space has done wonders for all of us there's even a garden where Briar loves to play. Everything seems to be looking up for us. Briar still has therapy, but she's healing and that's all that matters. I still sometimes will get a phantom pain in my shoulder, but that's okay because it means I'm alive. There's still a lot to work through, but hey that's okay because I'm her to just live my life with a smile on my face. Now dear reader if you haven't taken anything rom this I hope you at least take away that even if something bad happens such as the events in this story all you need to do is seize the day in the end and make the most of our life because you only get one chance at life so make it count. My name is Atticus McAllister and I bid you adieu.
