Leo and I were best friends since childhood. Leo was a sweetest and caring best friend you could ever get but he has a secret which he didn't want to tell me. We both share happiness and pain together. Whenever I feel down, Leo will pat my head, place it on his shoulder and comfort me.
One day, I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 months, Hong bin. I broke up with my boyfriend because I caught him cheating on me with another girl. I asked him why and his reason was simple, "I'm bored of you." I cried in my room thinking about my ex-boyfriend. I called Leo and cried to him. He hanged up the phone and said he's on the way.
After about five minutes, Leo walked into my room and warmly hugged me while comforting me. He called Hong bin and scolded him for he is doing. Hong bin apologized but I didn't accept his apology. Then, Leo asked me to wash my face and get ready because he wanted to take me to a cafe so that it will help me feel relax and I will forget about Hong bin.
We both were walking to the cafe. On the way to the cafe, I asked Leo whether he likes any girl an he replied, "Yes, but I can't have her heart." "Why not you go and ask her?" I told him and he said, "I'm afraid. What if she says we cannot be more than friends?" I looked at him with a puzzled look on my face. Leo came near my ears and whispered, "Can't you see..." Suddenly, I saw a bright red string connecting the pinky finger of mine and his. "We are fated to be together. That is what the gods and the angels want." Leo said. I got scared and asked him who is he. Leo said that one of the angel once came to his dream and told him that he has the power to see The Red String of Fate. Since that day, he can see The Red String of Fate on many people's pinky finger or their ankle. He also said that in his dream he saw that The Red String of Fate broke on mine and Hong bin's pinky finger and like his dream, the next day Hong bin and I broke up. Leo was shocked after that because his dream showed him a sign of mine and Hong bin's unfated relationship. "I know you won't trust when I say this but I saw The Red String of Fate connecting your's and my pinky finger but I didn't want to tell you because I'm scared that you might think I'm weird." He said. I laughed and replied to him, "Of course I won't leave you. At first, I'll think that you're crazy but later I will trust you because you're my Leo. I know you won't lie to me." Leo gave me a warm smile and asked, "Will you be my better half?" I said yes and he hugged me. He pecked my forehead. Later, Leo and I went to the cafe and enjoyed our date as Fated Lovers.
