James's POV
My mom had decided to take me to school that day.
"Have a good day," She smiled.
I nodded, "Thank you."
I got out, and walked to my group of "friends". They weren't what I would call my friends, really. I didn't like them...
"Hey, James!" Ethan called.
"Sup," I said.
I saw Ash with Isaiah, and smiled softly.
My mom pulled out of the parking spot, and looked at me.
"Fag!" I called to Ash.
She smiled, and then finally drove off.
I breathed out in relief, looking back at Ash. My eyes widened a bit when I saw him coming over here. I had a bad feeling about this.
"You know what, James?" He questioned when he reached me.
"Uh... No?" I replied.
"You only broke up with me because you're ashamed of me," he whispered.
I sighed, "That's--"
He interrupted me. "I'm actually glad you broke up with me because apparently you don't even like me. And you know, I don't like to be led on."
"Ash--" I tried again.
"No, I'm not going to listen to you because I don't care anymore. You're just a player."
I was quiet. What should I say? Well, I probably wouldn't even be able to say anything if he kept interrupting me.
"And Isaiah was right. I should have never fallen for someone as shallow as you," Ash spit out, and then walked away from me.
Wait, he fell for me? I wanted to call him back, but I couldn't. If I did, people would think the rumors were actually true, and I could not risk my mom finding out. But seriously, this has gone too far.
"What was that all about?" Ethan asked.
Thank god, he wasn't listening.
I shrugged, "No idea. I wasn't even listening."
"So, we beating up the fag today?" He smirked.
I wanted to punch the smirk off his face, but I couldn't. I had to stay cool...
"Nah. Let's not waste our time on him," I muttered, walking to the school.
Suddenly, I was stopped by none other than my ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
"Hey," she said, blowing a bubble with her bubble gum.
"Rihanna, what do you want?" I rolled my eyes.
"You're not actually dating a guy, are you?" She questioned.
"No, I'm not," I grunted. "Now leave me alone."
"Oh, that's not all I wanted to talk to you about," she grinned.
"Leave me alone," I said.
"You don't even know what I want to say," she argued.
I have a feeling, though...
"Go ahead, then," I mumbled.
"I want to get back together."
"Sorry, but that's not happening," I laughed.
"And why not?" She pouted.
"Why? Rihanna, you cheated on me!"
