The brunette awoke to the smell of cinnamon and hot cocoa. She jumped out of bed and slipped on her pants and Christmas pullover jumper. She wanted to look and feel cosy; it was Christmas morning after all.

She made her way down the creaking wooden stairs and collapsed on the lounge next to her parents and little sister who were all waiting for her, sipping their cocoa. They all greeted her with hugs and yelling ‘Merry Christmas,’ at her. Her mum passed her daughter her famous cup of hot cocoa.

“Yum.” she said, taking her first sip.

They all began to open their presents. Laughing and joy filled the air that Christmas morning. It was filled with love and the family celebrated it the right way. The brunette narrowed her eyes after her mother announced that all the presents have been opened. Her mum was wrong; she still saw a present up behind the tree. They all left and she scurried over, pulling the lonely present into her hands

She read the tag and her eyes widened. It had her name on it and surely enough it said, ‘from Justin Bieber.’

“How did he get in here?” she asked herself.

She slowly pulled off the ribbon of the small box. Her small fragile fingers danced around the box as she pulled off the last of the wrapping. It was a box you would get from the jewellers. She opened it carefully and her heart raced at the sight of a diamond necklace. Surely this was a mistake; she had only spent less than thirty minutes with him last night.

She pulled out a note from inside the box and smiled as she read it to herself.

‘Dear Christmas angel,

My Christmas wish seemed to come a bit too early when I met you last night. I can’t get you off of my mind. I know this sounds corny and I only just met you but can I see you on Christmas?

-       Justin’

Her eyes widened and she didn’t know how to answer the question when she didn’t have his number. So she decided to whisper it, who knows, with all this Christmas magic she wouldn’t be surprised if he heard her. Everything was so unrealistic that she believed anything could be possible, she could even feel herself being able to fly higher than the clouds.

“Yes.” she whispered.

There truly was magic this Christmas as she stood up and turned around at someone clearing her throat. Justin stood there with his hands in his front pockets grinning. He was too happy for someone who had just lost his girlfriend of one year. Could she possibly be the one making him like this? No, she couldn’t be.

“I’m glad.” he smiled, “Do you like the necklace?”

She nodded, “Yes, it’s lovely! Can you help me put it on?”

He nodded, stepping closer to her. Her hand brushed his and she lightly placed the diamond necklace into his hand. She smiled at the touch and turned around with her back to him. He carefully placed the necklace around her neck and clipped it.

“There we go.” He whispered, breathing on her neck.

She turned around and smiled. “Thank you Justin. But why me?”

“I have no clue, but I can’t get you out of my damn mind. So, I’m thinking you’re a Christmas angel.”

She giggled, “I am not. You have the wrong girl.”

He placed his finger to the girls’ lips and smiled, “Justin Bieber is never wrong.”

This caused a deep blush to cover her cheeks. His hand moved over her cheek, brushing back a loose strand of hair. That made her snap out of it and look down. She was wearing her Christmas morning clothes and had no makeup on! She was embarrassed; she probably looked bad for Justin.

“What is it?” he asked, his face so close to hers that she was frozen in her spot.

“I-I-look terrible.”

“I think you look cute.” he smirked, his eyes trailing down to look at her Christmas jumper.

He smirked satisfied as he watched her cheeks turn rosy red another time. He couldn’t help but chuckle and keep his hand on her cheek. He wondered if she were a fan, she must have been, she has been so nervous last night.

“Are you a fan?”

Her eyes widened in panic. She was scared if she told him that he wouldn’t look at her the same. She didn’t want him to think she only liked him because she was a belieber. She chewed on her bottom lip in thought.

“You’re unsure?”

She shook her head. “Yes, I’m a belieber.”

“That’s great.” he smiled. “Then I guess I can finally take a fan on a date.”

“A date?” she choked.

“Oh...unless you want to spend Christmas with your family. That’s okay.”

She looked at her feet smiling. “You said I was your Christmas wish...”

“Yeah?”

“And you are mine.” she looked up, just in time to see a sparkle in his eye.

His fingers laced in hers as he blushed. Butterflies danced in her stomach at the sight of seeing him blush, she couldn’t be any happier.

She pulled Justin with her to the kitchen and stood by the door, her head leaning on his shoulder. She liked the feeling, it felt right. All their jaws dropped except for her father’s, he was too busy reading his newspaper.

“Mum, can I go out for a few hours.”

She nodded, not able to speak. She felt sorry for her mum; she had shared that same feeling last night. The feeling where you had no control, all you could do was question yourself if you were dreaming or not. Justin leant down and whispered; ‘let’s go,’ in her ear. She nodded before explaining she quickly needed to get dressed.

Justin sat quietly on the couch thinking to himself. He was still in deep thought what her name could possibly be. He liked her a lot; it was killing him not to know.

Justin heard the creak of the wooden stairs and the girl walked down them. She looked gorgeous in her skinny jeans and black leather jacket. She smiled and joined him again, linking their hands together.

“Where are you taking me?” she asked him.

“It’s a surprise.”
