OKAY! I'm relatively new to this superhero/comic book stuff, but last time I checked Captain Marvel is a DC superhero. Why is Marvel making a movie on him? Did they buy the rights or something?

Steve parked our old car so there was one spot between us and a large white van. As soon as the car stopped, I opened my door and got out.
Clint and Wanda got out of the van. Wanda smiled at me and leaned against the hood of the van.
Steve got out of the driver's seat and Sam and Buck walked around the side of the car to stand next to me.
Clint was wearing his black Hawkeye suit. "One telepathic Avenger, as requested," he said with a smile.
Wanda shot him an annoyed look, but didn't comment.
"What about our other recruit?" Steve asked.
I frowned. We had another team member? Interesting.
"He's rarin' to go." Clint yanked the side door of the van open. "Might need to put a bit of coffee in him but... should be good."
The man laying on the seat shot bolt upright like someone had poked him in the ribs when the door clicked. His eyes widened when he saw us. He jumped out of the car.
Sam rolled his eyes and gave Steve a reproachful look.
"What time zone is this?" the man asked.
Clint shook his head and gave the man a little push.
The man looked at Steve in awe. "Captain America," he said in amazement, shaking Steve's hand.
"Mr. Lang," Steve said stiffly.
Aha! So that's who this was. Scott Lang... called himself Ant Man if I remembered right. Fought with Sam, which would explain Sam's annoyed look at Steve.
Scott continued to shake Steve's hand for about two seconds before he said, "It's an honor. I'm shaking your hand for way to long!"
I glanced at Buck, who raised an eyebrow and shook his head.
Scott stopped shaking Steve's hand, but his grin remained. "This is awesome. Captain America!" He turned to Wanda. "I know you too. You're great."
Wanda's face changed to surprise. She looked down at her hands, as if wondering if she really was great. I tried hard not to tell her Scott was right. Now wasn't the greatest moment for that.
Scott looked at me. "I don't know you though."
I held out my hand, acutely aware of my jacket and pants shining. "Skye Allen. I'm tech support you could say."
"Among other things," Sam whispered.
Scott shook my hand, though thankfully, not as long as he had for Steve. "I'm Scott." After that he totally lost interest in me and looked back at Steve. He reached out and touched Steve's arm.
I grinned and quickly turned my laugh into a cough behind my hand.
Scott noticed Sam and his face fell. "Uh.. hi."
"What's up Tic-Tac?" Sam asked, leaning back against our car. He crossed his arms.
Scott cleared his throat. "About last time..."
"It won't happen again," Sam said, forcing a small smile. "It was a great audition."
Steve interrupted them before the conversation got any more awkward. "Did Clint fill you in on the situation?"
Clint made a kind of coughing sound and became very interested in looking for something in the back of the van.
"Uh, something about psycho assassins?" Scott said.
That was too much for me. I started snickering like a little kid who played a prank and was trying not to give themselves away.
I could see Steve resisting the urge to laugh as well. "That's not too far off."
I snorted and looked back at Buck. He was smiling too.
"We're outside the law on this one, so if you join us... you're a wanted man," Steve said.
Scott nodded. "Yeah well... what else is new?"
I grinned. "I can't talk. I'm wanted for questioning. Simple ones I'm guessing, but that won't make them easy to answer."
Scott tilted his head. "I thought I'd seen you somewhere!"
"We need to focus," Steve pointed out. "Everyone suit up."
"What if I'm already suited up?" I asked.
"Then you walk away so the rest of us can change."
"Mkay."
I wandered to the edge of the parking garage and looked down at the planes. It seemed like the airport was completely empty. I wondered if Tony had bought the airport on short notice and evacuated everyone.
It was perfect for Steve's plan though. There wouldn't be any interference from other planes when we took off with the quinjet.
I took a deep breath and regretted it when a sharp pain shot up my side. We had all agreed that I would copilot, meaning I couldn't take any pain medicine until after our mission.
I wished I could join Steve or Buck or even Wanda and Clint, as long as I didn't have to do my part of sneaking to the quinjet and prepping it for takeoff.
Everyone but me, Buck, and Steve were a diversion. They would all likely get captured after we flew away, but they had agreed to do it anyway.
"It'll work out Techy," Sam said, coming to lean against the railing next to me. His eyes were hidden behind his red tinted goggles. "Just remember, I'm your eyes in the fight."
I smiled. "I know. Thanks for letting me do that. I wish I could help more."
"You can." Sam glanced over his shoulder. "Don't tell anyone I asked you to do this, but if any technology fails, no matter who it is, I want you to try fixing it."
I could be helpful. I looked into Sam's eyes, or... goggles rather. "I will."
