Kai Smith... the hot head, the firecat of the streets, the controller of hell flames... he was called many things and he didn't give two shits about it.

Kai's slit red pupils stared at the school for " bad boys" and sighed. He didn't like how his friend went to such a school. In fact it angered him that Lloyds parents thought he needed to go here.
Kai's thoughts were stopped when the bell rang. The 18 year old scanned the sea of 16 year Olds for Sandy blond hair.
" kai?" Kai's slit eyes narrowed before looking down at the voice.
Lloyd stood there, his big reddish orange eyes stared into Kai's eyes of hell.
" what are you doing here?" Lloyd asked, his Sandy blond hair moving perfectly in the wind.
Kai felt a small blush form, " it's my Turn to pick you up today... ".
Lloyds eyes brightened up, " reall!?" Kai grined at green ninja and nodded, causing lloyd to smile bigger.

Kai motioned to the parking lot where a bright red Yamaha motorcycle stood with a gold helmet and a red one.
Lloyd was instantly on the bike, grinning in happiness as he picked up the gold helmet with a green dragon on the sides.

" Hey blondy!" Lloyd paused, his grin disappearing.
Kai felt his fire rise a bit in his blood, he didn't like it when lloyd wasn't smiling.

" You still owe me for that scene today at lunch.. " Lloyd turned and looked at voice.
Three boys stood there, the middle one cracking his knuckles as the two behind him grinned.
" listen Chase, I didn't mean t- "
" Shut it, you either pay us money or ya pay us by being our punching bag... " Chase smirked.

Kai finally turned around to face the boys. His red slit eyes glowed like the pits of hell, it didn't help that his scar over his eye made look more dangerous.

" I'm gonna give you 5 seconds ta get your ass out if my sight..." The boys saw Kai's sharp teeth, causing them to step back a bit.

"1.."
" You don't scare us.. right guys?" Chase turned to look at his two followers, who where shaking in fear.
"2..."

Lloyd stayed silent, holding onto the helmet tightly.
"3.."

The two boys that follow Chase take off running.
"4..."
" Cowards!!" Chase yells before turning to look at kai.
" Chase, just back down please... I don't want kai to hurt you" lloyd spoke.
" please, like he'd hurt m- "
"5.." kai appeared Infront of Chase and punched him.

" kai do-" Lloyd cut himself off, knowing how protective and stubborn kai is with his family.
Though, that's what lloyd likes about kai.

Kai walked away from the fallen boy.
" if I ever find out you've harmed lloyd... I'll personally beat you till your mom can't recognized your face..." kai growled as he got on the motorcycle.

" yovvue bbhhrroke mhy jhaw!" Chase yelled.
Kai's eyes snapped at chase, causing him to go pale.
" kai.. let's just go.." Lloyd said, making kai sigh and put on the red flamed helmet.

Lloyd grabbed onto Kai's waist as they took off.
Lloyd snuggled into Kai's back, blocking out the cool autumn air. Kai was like a heater, his fire in his blood radiated out, making lloyd want to be wrapped up in Kai's arms.

Kai weaved the motorcycle in and out of traffic. " I'm sorry Lloyd.." Lloyd heard Kai's voice in his helmet.
" it's fine... though we could have solved that in a calmer manner." Lloyd laughed, making kai chuckle.

" I just don't like seeing you in harms way... " kai spoke softly.

" well, that's what I'm trained for..." Lloyd smiled.

"... I know... " kai sighed.
Soon he stopped the motorcycle by the ocean, where they kept the Bounty on a dock.

Kai got off and removed his helmet,  lloyd doing the same as kai kick out the kickstand on his motorcycle.
"Kai..." kai turned to look at lloyd.

" thank you..." Lloyd hugged kai, making the ninja of fire blush before hugging back. " anytime... " kai said.

The two walked onto the bounty, being greeted by their mixmatched family.
