Chapter 3: Why me?

Avery

"I am a fox goddess, I was sent here to find my host and fight with you!" She said

"Oh so your a goddess! Wow.... Well I think I accept!" I told her totally forgetting that I was being chased before

"Okay so what is your name?" Asked the fox
"It's Avery!" I answered
"I love it! So now you have to say I and say your whole name, accept to become your host and then you shall name me." Said the goddess with a huge fox grin on her face.

"Okay!!"..... "I Avery Lizzy James accept to become your host. And I name you ruby" and with that ruby smile and said "And I accept you Avery Lizzy James has my host!"

"Grrr!!!" I was frightened that I jumped up, and when I turn around every thing popped back in my head. That I was bring chase, what I saw was unbelievable, the wolf was so big but not a big has ruby, it was almost as big as me but it wasn't.

"Bloody hell I forgot about you! Your not a normal wolf you are too huge to he natural." I said

"You're right Avery, this isn't a wolf, its an werewolf." Said ruby to me

"What werewolves are real, holy mother of cows! Any way I bet if a fox goddess is real you are too." I said starting to believe every thing now

"Grrrr!" The werewolf growled

"Avery it seem to be a rogue at it!" Said ruby

"What is a rogue ruby?" I asked her while looking at the thing to see going to move

"A rogue is a werewolf who was banded from there pack, or when they leave the pack them selves. With this their smell is different from before!" Said ruby

The werewolf jumped after us, and I jumped side ways. 'Avery are you alright?' Something asked me in my head sounding like ruby. 'Yeah I think I am, ruby?' Asked back the voice
'Yeah it is me, we now have the ability to communicate through out our mind, we call it mind link.' She said

"Hear me well werewolf, you will not harm my host. So its best that you run along now." Ruby said to the werewolf but it growled has if it's not standing down.

"I SAID TO MOVE ALONG PUP, OR YOU WILL DIE" said ruby and when she spoke the whole ground shake and lighten shook the skies

And with that the werewolf ran off into the woods. Thank god

"Um! Ruby I need to go home, don't want my parents worried. And I don't want my father to get me a body guards." I said to ruby

"Okay" said ruby and has she said that her body started to glow, and ruby bend down and placed her head on mine. And with that my body started to feel hot, and when I look at it, it seems as if ruby was being transported into my body. I started to glow as ruby emerged into me and after a while it started to dim.
'Hey Avery, now we are one. But we can talk later, come on let's run to your house.' Said ruby

And with that a started to run in the direction I knew I came from, as I took off I could feel the strength in me. So I put my strength and speed in my legs in a fee minutes I was out of the woods and on lane to my house.

I went in the house, and thank fully I wasn't gone for that long to make any one worry. "Dad, mom I am gone to bed I am quite tired!" I shouted out as I started to walk up the stair to my room.

As I step into my room and saw this wonderful view in front of me. The palace how wonderful, it seem to be lighted up by the full moon. Wait full moon 'Ruby did the full moon affect the rogue or something?' I asked ruby
'No it shouldn't, if it was his first time shifting it would have an affect on him!'
"Oh poor thing, I hope he is alright" I said feeling a bit relief
