*Hailey's POV*

"Hey," Simon said to me as he grabbed some food from the buffet. He took a seat down at a table and quickly got up and pulled a chair out for me to sit down. I blushed and thanked him. No boy has ever been this kind before.

"Yeah, sorry about earlier. I'll have to make it up to you," I said and I saw his eyes light up. They were a beautiful blue you could get lost in. I could drown in them.

"Come on a date with me?" Simon asked shyly. He didn't just? I gave him a wide grin and he returned it.

"Of course," I said simply. His face seemed to glow and he looked way happier than when I saw him earlier. I had known him for a day and yet already I loved making him smile.

Suddenly, I felt a vibration in my handbag next to me. My phone. I pulled out my iPhone 6s and listened.

"Hailey! We need you asap! Time time time, a precious thing and you waste it! Come on, be here in 15 minutes"
"Sure Maria, bye"
"Bye, Hailstorm"

"Who was that?" Simon asked as I put my phone back into my bag.

"Oh, my manager, Maria. I have to be on set in 15 minutes. I'd better go," I said and stood up. I tucked my chair in under the table and the white cloth drooped over it.

"Here," Simon said holding his hand out and in it was a phone number. His, I assumed.

"Bye!" I called out to everyone. I got a 'bye' from everyone and I left through the big, black doors.

As soon as I made it back into the main mass of the convention centre, I was bombarded.

"I have to be somewhere, sorry guys!" I shouted and snaked my way through the crowd.

"She doesn't care about her fans," I heard from all around me and I knew I had to get out of there. I started running and something fell out of my purse. I didn't want to look back.

*SKIPPING HER GETTING THERE*

"Hailey! Just on time, well actually not on time but on the late on time," Maria said, fussing over my hair as I sat down in her 'station' as she called it. "Go on, you look like you have a lot to tell."

"I think I'm falling," I said and she grabbed my hand quickly. I could feel type veins through her hands, she seemed thinner than before.

"I'll move this chair then," she said, adjusting the height of the chair. I giggled lightly.

"For someone," she span me round and I saw her red lips were curved into a smile.

"Dish out the details," she said, spinning me and putting a bow into my hair. As I looked in the mirror, I saw something else different about her. Her grey hair was thinner and her cheeks were slightly more hollowed. I brushed it off as a vice of old age.

"He's tall. He has dreamy blue eyes and a smile to kill for. His hair is a beautiful blonde and his laugh is amazing. He has an amazing personality, I can make him laugh, he can make me laugh. His name's Simon," she stopped doing my hair and put everything down. Did I say something?

"Simon Minter?" She whispered, I looked around uncomfortably.

"I don't know," I said and she opened her mouth to speak but thought the better of it.

"Anyways, we need to get you looking glamorous. Your scene is where the murderer tries to kill you but he he can't because of your beauty," she said and quickly grabbed out a curler and curled the ends of my brown/blonde ombré hair.

*SKIPPING THE MAKEOVER*

"You look," she stopped and span me around so I could see in the mirror.

"Fantastic," I muttered looking at myself. I looked nothing like what I was, I didn't look the insecure girl that was inside of me.
