*Hailey's POV*

The rain poured as I walked home. It made the dimly lit street look even darker. My hotel was only another hundred metres away and so I decided to run the rest. Undeniably, that was a mistake.

My clothes got drenched as the rain fell onto them and I had to shield my leather handbag so my phone wouldn't break with the amount of water.

I entered the lobby and the entrance staff greeted me. It was a classic hotel lobby. Potted plants in each corner and lifts on every side except one where the reception desk sat. I hated lifts so I chose to walk up the stairs instead. I assumed Beth would be home by now. She didn't like partying really so she wouldn't be out late and to be honest neither did I, it wasn't really our forte.

I opened the door to our room and saw Beth sat on the sofa.

"HIIIII!" She screamed. "I've been waiting for you for literally years. I'm 50 now."

"Well, this hoe is hungry so we are gonna order some food," I said and Beth pulled out a tray with so much food on. I did my best not to drool. "You know how to win a girls heart."

"Well, I am the best at everything," Beth said and I nodded and smiled sarcastically.

"Yep, your the best at being the worst," I said and she looked at me with a fake shocked face. I opened my arms to hug her and she jumped into me so we ended up on a pile on the floor. "10/10, well done."

"Are you gonna let this food get cold?" Beth said and I shook my head quickly before almost diving for the tray. Food is life.

*SKIPPING UNTIL AFTER THEY'VE EATEN*

"I think I'm gonna explode," I said flopping onto the sofa. Beth and I literally ate everything and she brought up about 5 plates of food. Usually, I wouldn't eat that much but I don't know why I did today.

Simon. I never called him. Oh god.

I quickly ran to my handbag and rummaged through it. I couldn't find it. Where was the number he gave me?

I opened Twitter on my phone and messaged Simon.

H: Your number dropped out of my bag at some point. Sorry xx

I hope putting kisses wouldn't make him think I was needy? I'm not am I? Oh god, I was overthinking.

S: nah it's fine. I'll just give you my number on here: ***********.
H: Thanks babe xxxxxxxx
S: you are welcome, baguette x
H: babeguette haha lol I'm so funny fml
S: I'd love to talk to you more but I've got to go, we ordered food and its come.
H: I see *cries* food is more important than me *sniffles*. You better say it is. Ain't nobody disrespect queen F.
S: bye bae
H: bye poop in Danish.

I could talk to him for years. I bet he couldn't talk to me for years. Who would want to talk to me for years?

"I'm tired," I said yawning, "I'm gonna go to sleep, night."

"Night," Beth said and I walked into my room. I got changed out of my normal clothes and into something more 'comfortable'. I flopped onto my bed and eventually I fell asleep.

Sun shone through my open window and it woke me up. Fuck you, sunlight. I checked the time on my phone. 9:31. I've been up later.
