"Come on Tasia, just come over here! I'm having trouble choosing a wife.." Kaius begged.

This is one of the many times he's called me today. It's all the same, 'can you please come.' He want's me to come join him in his kingdom to help him choose a wife. The thought is a bit unpleasing.

"I'll think about it." I teased, laughing. I eyed all of the unfinished paperwork that I have to complete for me to graduate.

I teased Kaius often, and I enjoy it. We grew up together, like brother and sister, even though he's a bit older than me, and my twin, Keagan. He would visit often with his family, but not as much now, with his upcoming duties as a soon-to-be king. He would come here, but if they couldn't make it, we would join them in their kingdom, so on and so forth.

Now, my brother Keagan, my twin brother Keagan. He loves to write and do photography. He's always had this idea that he'd become Gardenia's best selling author. So, every year I would supply him with all these pens, and tons of paper, even though he does most his writing online, and some film for his cameras. Every year in return he would supply me with sport's equipment, and new guitar picks, maybe a guitar every few years.

I still play sport's even though I have a weak lung, that's why I keep a breather on hand, or near me.

But a bit of things have changed ever since I was 13, I built up some sort of special feeling for Kaius, hormones I guess.

A/N oml hormones lmao. These hormonal teens ☠☠

He would always beg, asking me who I like, funny how it was him the whole time. I would just tell him it's Kane, some boy from my school.

"Oh come on Tasia! You have to come! I can't do this by myself." He pauses. "A- and every time theres a rebel attack, they all start pouring their hearts out! And I'm definitely not the best at comforting a girl." A stumbles over his words.

"Maybe! I'll have to ask my mom and dad.. I've gotta go, but I'll call you back if they say yes, I mean I don't see why they wouldn't."

I can almost see him smiling on the other line. "Alright, I gotta go too. I'll call you later."

I put the phone down, getting back to work.

A/N I know, this is just like the original story, but it's supposed to be like that haha. I just enjoyed this story a bit too much, and I wanted to recreate it. Thanks for reading - anon❦
