The Next Day

When I woke up I saw Obi smirking at me and I got startled so I sat up fast and hit my head on the desk. "Ow Obi what are you doing here" I asked. "The Mistress went somewhere with Kiki and Mitsuhide, Zen is with his brother on a trip and Kurrumi is eating an apple in a tree while reading outside the Medical Wing. Prince Zen ordered me and her to keep an eye on the place. I know your secret Riyuu" said Obi startling me. "What secret I'm not hiding any secrets" I said. "I know you have a crush on Kurrumi" said Obi making me realize that's why my heart skips beats whenever I'm around her. "Um no I do not have a crush on Kurrumi" I said before getting out of underneath my desk to get changed. "Well that's too bad I think you two look good together. Plus she's studying herbs and flowers. She told me her favorite kind is the poisonous ones" said Obi surprising me. "Really I like those too" I whispered. "I heard you. I know you like her. I was getting to know her better and now she's my best friend so if you have any questions just ask me" said Obi while giving me a toothy grin. I just turned 13 last month and these so called 'Romantic Feelings' have already developed. "Obi where's she from" I asked. "She's from Tanborune. She's the 1st princess of Tanborune but she hates her family except for her older brother Raj. They abounded her when she was born Raj saved her. He took her to their aunt and she lived with her aunt until a year ago. Raj would visit her every week. Her aunt trained her as an assassin. She studied genetics and medicine and more things. She loves art. But she loves to read. Her favorite types of books are the romance ones because their all so different" said Obi. "Why did her family abandoned her" I asked. But before Obi could answer Kurrumi answered. "Because I was born with purple hair. They thought I would be a waste of time and effort to take care of so they left me in the snow. But Raj took care of me. He's the only one that cared" said Kurrumi coming in. "Kurrumi when did you get here" I asked. "Just a second ago. I wanted to return this book Shirayuki lent me. Now why did you want to know that" she asked. "Because you seemed very distant from Zen but you opened up to Obi in a heart beat" I lied kinda. "I don't trust royalty. Obi's trustworthy as for you I think your cool" when she said that I blushed. Then she put the book on a table and left. "Oh it looks like your love is getting closer" said Obi before I slapped him. "Now what's the event the Kingdom is having tomorrow" I asked Obi. "Their having a Royal Ball tomorrow night to kick off the festival. Kurrumi is going to go and is going to preform a song called Black Roses. Hey you should ask her to dance" said Obi getting all up in my face. "I'll try to ask her" I said before turning red. "Yeah I'm gonna ask the Mistress to dance also"said Obi before starring into space. Until Kurrumi came in and yelled "Obi Shirayuki was kidnapped along with Mistuhide and Kiki we have to go". "Ok let's go come on Riyuu we'll need your help too" said Obi. Then he grabbed me a pair of boots and I put them on and we ran to the horses. There were only 2 horses and there were 3 of us. Obi I hate you. "Ok Kurrumi you'll ride with Riyuu" said Obi. "What why me" I asked. "Cause I can't ride with her I'll crush her and your both small" said Obi. "Fine come on" I said. She sat in back of me and hugged me well technically she was just holding on to me so she wouldn't fall off but I was still as red as a tomato. When we got to a camp in the Forrest the 3 were tied up and there were 7 thieves. Obi attacked immediately while Kurrumi stayed with me. "Don't you have to fight" I asked in confusion. "If I leave you alone they'll try to take you" she said. "Well then I'll help" I said. Then she smiled and gave me a gun. Then we were back to back and started shooting. When all 7 were down 2 dead Kurrumi did over kill we untied them and Obi asked "How did this happen". "They wanted to sell me because of my hair" said Shirayuki. She pissed Kurrumi off. "You shouldn't be aloud to leave the castle then. You cause too many problems" Kurrumi said. "Kurrumi don't say that" said Mitsuhide. "It's true maybe you can teach me how to fight so that I can defend myself. How does that sound Kurrumi" asked Shirayuki. "Sounds like fun for me and work for you. I'll do it as long as you tell me when you've had enough. But none of you can tell Zen" Kurrumi said. We all nodded. Then we went back to the castle. When we got their it was still pretty early so me, Shirayuki, Obi, and Kurrumi went to the sparring area. Kurrumi and Shirayuki changed into different clothes. Shirayuki was wearing a creaming color pants and a pink shirt with brown boots. Kurrumi was wearing Black pants and her black bra with her black combat boots. I turned red when I saw her in her bra. She put her weapons on a bench with Obi and me but took her swords then she tossed one to Shirayuki. "Now I want you to come at me and try to hit me. If you do you get a point if you don't then it becomes my turn and no point every hit you get on me you get a point every hit I get on you I get a point but I'm going easy on you so don't worry" said Kurrumi. "Ok let's start" said Shirayuki. Shirayuki ran to Kurrumi and tried to hit her with the sword but missed. Then Kurrumi hit her with the back of the blade so it wouldn't cut her. Shirayuki fell very hard. "Ow that hurt" said Shirayuki. "Well I guess we should do this another day you need to rest for tomorrow after all" said Kurrumi before grabbing her stuff and walking away. "What's tomorrow" asked Shirayuki. "The ball to kick off the festival" I said. "Oh I never knew that" said Shirayuki. "Well then would you like to be my date Mistress" asked Obi. "Sure I'd love to" she said. "Well I have to go help the chief I'll see you two later" she said before leaving.
