The Ball Is A Disaster

It was the next day and the ball was about to start and I couldn't find Kurrumi any where then I realized she was on stage about to start playing the piano. She was wearing a traditional mini Chinese dress. She looks beautiful. Then she started playing and singing. She's amazing. When she finished and everyone cheered for her. When she came down I asked her if she wanted to dance and she said yes. Then we started to waltz. It was amazing dancing with her. I never wanted this night to end ever. It didn't but the ball did. Then we all went to the festival it was dark but the sky was lit up with lanterns and lights. Although Kurrumi was keeping guard by herself she was eating food that Obi and Shirayuki had brought her. So I decided to join her. "Hey Kurrumi" I said. "Hey Riyuu what are you doing here" she asked. "I don't get along with royalty" I said. "Well the you can help me with something" she said. "Help you with what" I asked. "I know Mitsuhide likes Kiki. And Kiki likes Mitsuhide but she won't admit it because he's so dull. So I want to get Mitsuhide locked in a room with Kiki and until he confesses his love for her I'll let them out" she said. "Wow that's a good plan. Sure I'll get Mitsuhide and you get Kiki" I said. "Ok let's go" she said before running off. While I was running I found Mitsuhide. "Mitsuhide Kiki's in trouble"I said. "What happened is she ok" he asked. "Come with me" I said. Then he followed me until I saw Kurrumi and I pushed him into the room Kiki was in. Then Kurrumi locked the doors. So we just sat down across the hall. "How long do think it'll take" I asked. "About an hour since its Mitsuhide" she said. "What do we do until then" I asked. "Well Kiki has a key so she can open the doors and I have to go guard Shirayuki cause somebody came to kidnap her so bye Riyuu" she said. Then she ran off. So I just walked to a nearby balcony and watched the stars. "What did you do that for Riyuu" asked Obi freighting me. "What did I do" I asked. "She clearly didn't want to leave you. But your as dull as Mitsuhide" said Obi. "There's nothing I can do" I said. "Yes their is. She told you she needed to study herbs and flowers. And that the poisonous flowers are her favorite" said Obi. "I still don't understand" I said. "Take her to the poison flower garden and teach her about your favorite flowers" said Obi. "Ok I'll do that tomorrow" I said. "Ok where did she go" asked Obi. "To protect Shirayuki from being kidnapped" I said bluntly. "WHAT" yelled Obi. "You let her go by herself. She over kills you dimwit" said Obi before jumping off the balcony in search of Kurrumi and Shirayuki. I glanced up and saw Kurrumi with Shirayuki battling two men. Kurrumi had her arm covered but you could easily see she was bleeding. Shirayuki was fine but scared. Then Kurrumi said something then everyone got down except for the two men and she threw blades and killed the two men. Then she collapsed. So I jumped off the balcony and ran to her side. "What's going on here" said Zen. "Kurrumi's hurt" said Shirayuki. "What trouble could she have caused" said Zen. He pissed me off. "She tried to save Shirayuki, the woman your in love with, my apprentice, but you wouldn't know cause your as dull as every royal member in the world. Even prince Raj is better than you Zen" I said before picking Kurrumi up and carried her to the Medical wing. When I got their Obi put her to rest in the recovery quarters while Shirayuki covered her arm in a band to stop the bleeding. I couldn't do anything to protect her. "Riyuu Prince Zen wants to talk to you" said Obi. I walked out into the hall of the medical wing. "Riyuu I'm sorry I was rude" said Zen. "Sorry doesn't cut it she's hurt really badly and there's nothing I can do to help her" I said. "I know that it seems like I don't care for her but I do. I've just been hearing stories of the 1st Princess if Tanborune being a killer. Not careering of the safely of others so I was cautious and kept my guard up" said Zen. "Those stories are all wrong. Her parents abandoned her. Raj took her to their aunt who would protect her. Raj would visit every week even if he was very busy. Her aunt trained her to protect herself. She cares about a lot of people" I said. "Ok well when after she recovers I'm sending her home to Tanborune because Raj can't visit at the moment but she can visit him. You, Obi, and Shirayuki shall accompany her to make sure she's safe" said Zen before leaving. Then I walked into the recovery room. Kurrumi was still asleep so I decided to go to the other room until she grabbed my hand. "Stay with me Riyuu" she said. "I can't" I said. "But why" she asked. "Because it would look bad if I was here" I said. "Ok bye Riyuu I love you" she said before letting go. She was unconscious did she really mean she loved me. Then I walked into the other room with my face as red as an apple. "What happened Riyuu" asked Shirayuki. "I know what happened" said Obi while laughing. It's going to be a long night.
