Narrator's POV
He did it! He got his revenge. But what is this? The lion is not happy. Getting his vengeance didn't make him happy, he still had a void inside of his heart, for now he has no family and no purpose to grow.
He felt so sad, lonely and tired. He decided to lay down by a rock where he could see all of the Savannah. There he thought about all the times he could've joined a new family, but he has to focused on vengeance. He thought all the creatures he hurt and as he trained. He felt so sad, lonely and tired so he decided to sleep.
A last never did he knew that those would be his last thoughts, for the wounds from the fight were to great and caused him life. If it were not for his quest for vengeance he would have probably lived a long happy life, but instead he stood at the same level as the beast that killed his family and it caused everything (joy, a new family, even his life).
