chapter 10

I stared at Ronnie nervously. Then I looked at Bret. I grabbed my phone and ran out of my room, it was too stressful, Ronnie would yell and I would yell and Bret would get all stressed and I would get violent. Shelby and jc followed me. We ran to the tree fort and I curled up in a ball and cried. Shelby put a hand on my shoulder. "Why did you leave?" Shelby asked. I lifted my head. "It was too much." I cried. "Just pick the one you have more feelings more, which one have you done more for?" Jc said trying to stay positive. "Ronnie always taken care of me but Bret, I have feelings for in that way more." I said crying. "I don't know who to choose." I cried. "Bret!" Shelby and jc said at the same time. I nodded my head and went back to the house with my friends behind me. I stormed upstairs and pushed Ronnie out of the way and kissed Bret right on the lips and hugged him tight. Ronnie looked around sadly and walked back to his room in anger. Shelby and jc looked at each other and smiled, they finally knew I was happy. I fell asleep cuddling next to Bret and watching supernatural. The next morning I jumped up, it was the day of the hunt. I took a shower. I hopped in but screamed in pain, the water was burning the cuts on my arm and leg. I hopped out and wrapped a towel around myself just before Bret walked in to see what happened. "What's wrong?" He asked. "The shower burned my cuts." I said. Bret ran down stairs and came back with duct tape and plastic wrap. He took my arm and wrapped the plastic wrap around it and duct taped it shut. Then he did the same to my legs. I kisses his cheek and closed the door to the bathroom and went into the shower. I got out, got dressed, brushed my hair, and did my makeup. Bret took a shower after me and put on a new pair of clothes. Shelby walked in with jc. "You ready?" Shelby said. "Yea." I said. We walked out when Shelby walked to a brand new car. "It's our new car!" Shelby said. I hopped in with Bret in the back. Shelby and jc got in the front and Shelby started up the car. "Were going to an abandoned asylum." Shelby said. "Ok." I said. We stopped after about 4 hours of driving. It was midnight. We set up cameras and started our hunt. Shelby and jc went into the upper half, me and Bret stayed down stairs. I felt a presence. Bret was in a few rooms down when a hospital went flying and hit my head. The mattress on the bed in the room I was in fell on to me so I couldn't move at all. I screamed an ear piercing scream. Bret ran in and shoved the mattress off of me and picked me up. He set me down in the hall and sat next to me as he called Shelby on the walkie-talkie. Shelby and jc came running down with the medical kit. There was no major damage but I got a cut across my cheek and I twisted my ankle. We continued the hunt in a big group. Shelby and I checked out room 666. We walked in. Me and Shelby looked at the bed, there was blood on the bed. That's when the ghost picked up a pair of scissors and cut Shelby right down the back then stabbed my leg with a needle that was full of some drug that made me really tired. We both screamed in pain. Jc and Bret ran in and brought the medical kit. I was barely keeping my eyes open. Bret was holding me tight and saw the needle in my leg. He ripped it out. "It's full of a ducking drug." Bret said. Jc was giving Shelby stitches. I couldn't see much when I passed out. I awoke in the morning. I jumped up and panted in fear. Bret kisses my lips and laid me back down. I was in my room. I shot right back up and ran to Shelby room. She had an air mask on and she had an iv running through her arm. She was still asleep. "Is she ok?" I asked jc. "She has a bad concussion." Jc said crying. "Oh." I said. That's when Shelby eyes shot open. She was screaming. She was seeing things. She yelled and screamed and kicked, nobody could calm her down. She bit jc and punched me in the face. Ronnie came in and threw a pill into her mouth. In 20 seconds, Shelby was back asleep. Ronnie went back to his room quietly. That's when I turned around and saw a dark, tall apparition in front of me. "Help me." She said. TO BE CONTINUED
