Chapter 1 !

Melanies P.O.V

I woke up in my dorm around 9:30. I didnt have class today so i decided to just chill for today. I grabbed my clothes and walked to the showers. I showered up and put my clothes on. I grabbed my belongings and walked back to my dorm. I put my clothes in the hamper and saw that i had 5missed calls from Chresanto !  I didnt feel like being bothered with him today ! 

I grabbed my phone off the charger and walked to my car. I had on some black baggy sweats that stopped alittle pass my ankle. I had on a black see through shirt and it was waterfall. I had on a strapless black bra under it. I had on black wedges and my hair in a high bun. With a red bow. 

I walked out to my car and got in. I had a pearl white2013 ford escape. I got it recently and everytime i get in it smells like cherrys. I got in closed the door and started the car. I rolled down the windows and played sent from heaven by keisha cole. I backed up out my parking space and drove down the street to jack in the box... I waited in the drive through when my phone rang. I clicked the button on my GPS and my sisters voice filled all through my car.

" Hello" I spoke outloud

"Hey Sista From Anotha Mista !" My sister said !

"Hey ! Can You Watch Mah'lanah today while I work. I would ask momma, but you know she's tired..." She said reffering to our mothers problem.

" Sure ill watch the baby ! Get her clothes ready ! And ill be there in 15 minutes ! " I said pulling up to the moniter.

"Alright thank you ! I Love You Melanie !" My sister spoke !

"I Love You Too Meriah !" I said before hanging up.

" Can i get a breakfast chresant meal with a ice coffee & can i get another breakfast meal with french toast sticks. Wait let me get them for both meals and a orange juice." I said while opening my glove compartment to get my money.

" Okay that will be $18.47 at the next window." The lady spoke.

I pulled up paid the lady and got the food. I sat in the passenger seat and drove to my sisters house. I grabbed the food and opened the door. Yes we both have keys to eachothers house because we are in the same situation. With relationships. 

I walked in and slammed the door shut. I walked through her pearl white marble floor and walked into the living room and sat the food on the little coffee table. 

"Meriah" yelled out 

"HUH" She yelled while jogging down the stairs. 

She was dressed in a cheetah print tie in the front shirt with some cheetah print high waisted shorts and some cheetah pumps. I shook my head at her because she shouldnt be dressed that way especially when she knows Rayan is going to beat her ass while walking around and going to work like that ! I guess she will never learn.

"Why you looking at me like that" She asked scrunshing up her nose at me

"Why are you dressed like that and you know Rayan is going to be on your ass ! " I asked being truthful !

She just huffed ! 

" Okay ! Because I have a date with Chris today ! So thats why i need you to wath Mah'lanah !" She said looking at me weirdly.

I just shook my head and went to go get my neice. I want to file for custody so damn bad ! Im almost done with college ! And when im done she moving with me i dont give a damn ! Rayan beats on this little girl ! She's only 1years old ! Meriah ! Meriah just abandones her own daughter because of Rayan ! Rayan is just no good at all ! Im noteven scared of him ! His scrony ass ! 

I picked Mah'Lanah up and got her bag and packed a little more clothes cause im keeping her extra days and walked downstaris. I grabbed our food and walked outside to my car. Without saying goodbye to Meriah !.....
