It's been 3 months since barba has proposed to me and my due date for the baby is coming up in 3 weeks I've been sick for a couple of days I don't know why. I went to work even tho I'm suppost to be home I entered the station and fin said "cap aren't you suppost to be home" I nodded my head and said "yes but I cant sit home it gets to boring" Benson laughed and said "well get usted to it your gonna be home for a while with the baby" I smiled and said "what do we got" I looked at the bored full of pictures carisi said "we have a man who is raping young girls" I nodded my head carisi then called barba to tell him whats going on he came so to see I started getting pain in my stomach but I shrugged it off I used the board to suport me so the squad won't see I'm in pain. I started explaining to barba of the guy "so an unknown male in his twentys raped 3 girls all of the age of 15 he ties them to the bed and rapes them then to finish he stabs him in the stomach" as I said that a big shock of pain came over my stomach I doubled over in pain barba said "Nikki are you ok" I felt water drop down my legs my eyes widen I felt another pain i groaned in pain I said "call a bus I'm going into labor" everyone's eyes widen barba and carisi came over and carisi said "fin get the car upfront we need to go" fin nodded and ran out to get the car carisi and fin helped me outside we got in the elevator and barba said "our baby's coming" I nodded the elevator opened and we got into the car fin turned his sirens on and he drove to the hospital we arrived and barba and carisi helped me into the hospital they took me to the labor room and layed me in the bed they said I could push in 5 mintues rafi was with me. My stomach started hurting a lot I said "ugh I have to push" the doctors came over and said "ok Nikki on the count of three I want you to push like there's no tommorow.... Ready one.... Two.....three PUSH" I pushed really hard they told me to keep on pushing so I did the doctor said "ok Nikki one more push" I pushed one more and I saw my baby the baby looked weak probably because he/she was premature they took the baby and got me cleaned up the doctor came back without my baby he gave me a sad look what is he gonna say
Carisi pov
After we gave Nikki to the doctors liv and Amanda came I called chief because his daughters having a baby right now the phone rang twice then he picked up "hello" "chief it's me detective carisi" "sonny what can I do for you" "You need to come to the hospital right now your daughter is in labor" "I'll be right there" I hanged up and sighed nikkis baby is on the way
Nikkis pov
The doctor said "I'm so sorry Nikki but the baby is premature and by any chance do you smoke" I looked at him weirdly and said "no I dont smoke why?" he looked down and said "do you hang out with anyone who smokes" I suddenly remember and said "oh God yes my brother smokes I've been with my brother for 3days" the doctor sighed and said "your baby died you were gonna have a boy and we think that your baby died from second hand smoke" tears came to my eyes I started crying hard rafi hugged me but it didnt matter my baby just died they let the squad come in I told them everything and you could see the pity in thier eyes.
