Chapter 16

"Somebody's in love" Joni hummed.

"Yeah, you." I said looking at her

"And you too! My time to admit that I liked Logan was at Lexi's home. Now's your turn to admit that you like James."

"I like him. As a friend."

"You're lying!" Joni pointed a finger at me trying to make a serious face, but failing.

"Mhmm." Lexi agreed.

"Okay I admit, I THINK that I'm falling for him. But I'm not really sure. I mean, I know him since yesterday."

"Joni, I think she's still unsure because of what happened with Jonathan. It would be the same if it would happen to me."

"Ohh, I forgot about that. Sorry." She said puting a hand on my shoulder.

"No problem." I smiled at her. "And I'm not gonna lye, I fell safe and relaxed when I'm with him. Maybe that's a signal." I said looking at James that was messing around with the boys on the sea.

After that we laid down and talked while taking a tan. Believe me, I really needed that.

"Hey Carlos! Did you bring the ball?" I heard somebody shouting. Sounded like Kendall.

"Of couse I brough the ball! What kind of question was that?" Carlos asked him back.

"A stupid one!" Logan shouted and Joni, Lexi and I busted out laughing.

We weren't seeing them but we could hear them pretty well.

Sudenly I saw a shadow by Lexi. "Uhm Lexi?" She looked at me and I pointed to the shadow.

She looked up and saw Carlos. "Getting the ball I guess." She smiled.

He didn't say anything but smiled mischievously.

"Oh no. Please Carlos DON'T!" She screamed his name as he laid down ontop of her.

Do I have to remember you that she was sunbathing and hot and he was in the sea and cold? Yeah, that was mean.

Joni and I laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" Logan asked Joni.

Joni looked up and sat straigh up. "Uhm, because of what Carlos did to Lexi." She smiled innocently.

Logan sat next to her on her towel.

"Hey, you're wetting my towel!"

"And it's not the only thing that it's gonna be wet." Logan said hugging Joni as she screamed.

I laughed and then saw a shadow. I was laying with my tummy facing down and as I turned with my back facing down I saw a wet James looking at me. Damn, has he a hot bodie!

"Hello there." I smiled at him inocently.

"Hey." He smiled back tilting his head a bit to the right bit not moving any other part of his body.

I hope he's not planing on hugging me. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind if he would hug me. But please, not now. He's wet and cold.

"Yes James?"

"Hmm, nothing." He shrugged and then looked at me and smiled.

I stood up. "What is?" I asked taking a step back.

"Ohh, nothing. Just like I said before." He said with a 'shy' smile.

"Jaaaames."

"Yeah?" He smirked and took a step closer to me.

I took a step back "Don't even dare to think about it."

"Too late." He took another step closer but this time a little bigger.

"Don't!" I shouted running away 'cause he tried to catch me.

"Come here Cat! I wanna give you a hug!"

"In your dreams Maslow!" I laughed.

"I'll catch yah Salvatore!" He shouted back. And yeah Salvatore is my last name.

I kept running the fastest I could but I began to get tired and slowed down without wanting to.

"Nooo!" I screamed and laughed as he grabbed me by my waist and spinned me around a few times while laughing as well.

"James no please!" I shouted as I saw him walking to the sea.

"Ohh yeah."

"No!" I said trying to get out of his arms laughing. "The water's too cold!"

"No it isn't, it's pretty warm."

"You were in there for like the last 15 minutes!"

He laughed "Yeah you're right. But I'm still gonna do what I wanted to to." He smirked mischievously entering the sea.

"James put me down!"

"Okay." And with that said he let me fall into the water. I put my arms around his neck at the last moment and pulled him under the water with me.

"HA!" I cheered as James and I camo to the surface.

"Good move." He smiled.

"Thanks." And then I splashed him with water.

We had a water fight for around 10 minutes and then stopped...
