Chapter 42

James' P.O.V.

I walked out of the house and went to Logan's place.

"What's wrong man?" Logan asked as he opened the door.

"Oh my god!" Joni said shocked as she came to the door.

"I had a fight with Cat."

"Come in." Logan invited me in. We walked to the livingroom and sat down on the couch. "What happened."

"I let everything out." I put my head in my hands.

"What do you mean?" Logan asked.

"Cat told me some time ago that you were acting weird at times. Is it the same reason?" Joni asked.

"She noticed." I whispered looking at the floor. "Yes. It's the same reason." Logan was looking at me waiting for an explanation. "I started to think that Carlos and Cat had something."

Joni gasped. "WHAT?! Are you crazy?!"

"I got jealous because she's very close to Carlos and when she got the script she said that her part is interesting and smiled."

"James." Logan hit his head woth his hand. "Isn't it obvious that she loves you? And Carlos had a girfriend. Alexa, do you remember her?"

"Logan, I'm nit in the mood for kidding." I said.

"I'm not kidding James! You gotta apologise yourself! She doesn't deserve this!"

"He's right James. She had enough problems in her life and she doesn't deserve going through this." Joni agreed.

"If I ask you to come with me you'll come? I don't know if I can control myself if she freaks out." I asked.

"Yes we will." Joni nooded.

"You know I'm always happy to help." Logan stood up and walked over to me. I stood up as well and gave me man hug.

"Thank you man." I said.

"No problem. Now, let's go."

We went out of the house and drove to mine. I entered my house and walked to the livingroom expecting Cat to be there. She wasn't there.

"She must be in your room." Joni said.

I walked upstairs and she wasn't in our room. I checked the other rooms. "CAT! CAT WHERE ARE YOU?!" I shouted as I searched for her. I ran downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Where's she?" Logan asked as he came into the kitchen with me.

"I have no idea." I sighed loudly.

"Maybe she went out for a bit."

"She wouldn't go out without her phone and it is impossible for her to forget it. I know her." I showed him Cat's phone.

Logan ran back to the living room. "Joni! Call everyone! Cat's missing!" I heard him shout.

"WHAT?!" Joni freaked out. Then I heard her talk. I guess she was on the phone.

I made myself a coffee, went to the livingroom and sat down on the couch leaning back.

"They should be here anytime." Logan said sitting down next to me.

"Thanks." I looked at him and then at Joni.

"How are you?" He asked. Joni was listening silently.

I looked to the TV infront of me. "Everything but well." I said and took a sip of my coffee.(see media)

"Everything's gonna be alright."

"James?" Joni asked.

"Hmm?" I looked at her.

"Where's Fox?"

My eyes went wide open. "Sh*t" I jumped out of the couch put my coffee on the coffee table and ran to the backyard. "FOX!" I shouted but no signal of him. I ran back inside. "FOX!" I shouted again. I heard barking. I ran to the closet that was by the entrance for the coats, opened the door and Fox ran out. He ran to the livingroom and I followed him walking slowly. I sat on the couch with my elbows on my knees and looking at my feet.

"What happened?!" Maxi shouted as she entered the room. Logan explained EVERYTHING to everybody when they were all in the room. Yeah, he told about me beeing jealous as well. I was looking down all the time and didn't dare to look up.

"James?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah?" I slowly lifted my head up.

"I'm just good friends with Cat and care about her. Just like all of us. I just want to be her friend, nothing else." He looked at me.

"Sorry. I guess I was just afraid to lose her." I looked down again. "And I managed to lose her because of that."

"Were gonna find her." Logan put his hand on my shoulder.

"Maybe she just went out." Kendall suggested.

"Fox was locked in the closet." I looked at him.

"Right. Sorry I forgot about that."

"No problem." I sighed. "How are we gonna find her? She doesn't have her phone with her." I started to panick.

"James. Calm down. We're gonna find her." Maxi said.

"Just be patient." Lexi said.

"How can I be patient? I don't know where she is or with who." Suddenly I stopped breathing and sat straight on the couch. In that moment Cat's phone lit up.

'Told ya she would be mine Maslow.' Was what the text message said.

"What is?" Lexi asked.

I gave everyone the phone. "Jonathan." Joni gasped.

I simply nooded. "How am I gonna be able to find her? I don't wanna imagine what he's gonna do to her." My eyes began to get watery.

"Calm down James." Carlos said.

"I messed everything up. She deserves better than me."

"Enough Maslow!" Maxi shouted. "She deserves you. You're worried to death because she got kidnapped. You do everything for her to be happy. You brought her family from Portugal to LA so that she could see them. You're perfect for her!"

I looked at her surprised. I wasn't expecting her to be so loud right now. "But right now I don't care if I'm good ebough or not. We gotta find her."

"That's it!" Kendall said.

"I'll call the police." Carlos said.

"Like they're gonna do something now. She's gone for maximum one hour. They're gonna say we should wait." I said.

"Oh. You're right."

"But try it. At least they're informed."

"I will." He smiled and I tried to smile back.

"We're gonna find her and she will be fine." Logan put his hand on my back.
