CHAPTER ONE

Hi my name is Jodie. Not a nice name if you ask me, but knowing that my parents gave it to me is a precious thing to keep. Anyway, I'm eighteen years old and today will be my birthday. Knowing my best friend Dave will set me up with a stranger so I don't feel left out, like I would ever sit alone in a high school party. Right....

One time on my sweet sixteen birthday party. Without my consent, he invited bunch of strangers in my house while my parent were on vacation, mostly are jocks and.....cheerleaders-

And forgot to invite normal and good civilized or what k like to call them my people, Anyway that's half of the story of why I don't like birthday party or any kind of parties.

once upon a time I was that girl whose birthday parties turned out to be just another Saturday night party, I was literally kicked out of my house by some drunk jocks. Laugh all you want I had to pee in the bushes where the back yard is located,Thankfully no one noticed.

After the party was shut down by cops. Kids started scattering, while some kids were arrested for unknown charges, I was given a ticket and blamed for letting under-aged kids drink. Dave was properly miles away when the cops blow the doors open. Dad- was pleased with me having friends, but didn't care.

And if you're still wondering why I have a crappy best friend who gets his best friends in trouble. Well, he was the only person who actually talked to me in school when everyone else ignored me and he's also one of a kind... get it. One of-

An outcast I know.

The most frustrating thing when I wake up is the amount of light that comes through my windows. I'm pretty sure that I closed it last night before getting to the bed. Most people would like to wake up with the sunlight on their face.

Well, that's not me. I prefer the curtains closed. That's just me. I live at a small town that no one knows of. If you know what I mean. It's a small town that doesn't exist.I always wondered what's so bad about this town that the town mayor didn't bother to include it. Could it be the families that. complained about the ridiculous city rules that the mayor keeps making and the loved ones that keep disappearing.

As you may or may not know, the mayor only cares about the money he's making and his children's education. He doesn't even bother coming out of his stupid mayor office and giving a sorry speech or at least a "I will try my best to fine the psycho who keeps taking these kids". Give him a for all he cares.

Anyway, my mom doesn't listen to the news, so half the time she has no idea there is a lazy mayor and a kidnapper on the loss.

My mom stopped being a normal mother when my dad pasted away a two years ago. Two months after the bob-Mozilla arrival and his annoying daughter-

So yeah, my mom. The mother of Jodie. The outcast has destroyed my life, for marrying the lazy control freak Bob,and let's not forget that that happened right after my dad died. Two freaking months.I wonder what my dad is doing or feeling now. I he surprised and outraged like I am.

I stood from my bed or as I like to call it "why can't my mom buy me an
adult bed". Went to the open window wanting to close it but was suddenly bushed to the ground. Feeling back pain by the wind. While i'm trying to get back up, I straighten myself due to the pain that feels like it's spreading through my body. I brush a hand through my hair back but stopped when I spotted a dark figure luring through the bushed across the street where Mrs. Liz lives.
