A tall blonde with legs like an angel's dream walked through the rebel base.
There were men staring at her whenever she passed.
Her hair glided along with the wind
Her old leather bomber jacket revealed a
set of dog tags hanging over a white tank top.
Army issue jeans rocked beneath the tank top,
two army boots stomping the floor.
Morgan Tenner was her name.
She was the daughter of the revolutions leader.
One man dared slap her ass as she passed.
One man who made a great mistake...
One man who found himself getting suckerpunched.
She had NO patience for men like this...

That was until she heard a king class had revealed itself.
A king class piloted by a former armada flyer.
Josef 'Joe' Vinker, of whom stories were legendary.
In his great days, he destroyed entire fleets on his own.
His dad was a myth, his mom a legend.
He himself? Had fallen from grace and become freelance...
On that information alone, hearing the new stories,
something became clear.
She could hire or persuade him to join her side.

Maybe then, finally, her dad would see her for who she was.
He had always put her in transport guard duty.
Sometimes she got to fight in the fleet fighter squads.
He was protective over her. It was embarrassing...
Maybe when she brought in the one ship and pilot...
Those who could save their movement...
Those who could protect the queen of Venus...
Maybe then he would see her as a true pilot!

She quickly rushed up to her fighter squad.
"Have you heard? A king class revealed itself!" she said cheerily.
"Yeah, but a government empress and fleet are on its way to destroy it right away, luv, we're pretty much already too late." said one of the pilots.
"Fuck off, we're gonna collect a couple of queen cruisers and fuck'em up."
The pilot sighed and nodded. "Knowing you..." he grumbled.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she said, raising her eyebrow.
"Just... That you're uhm... Steadfast..." the pilot saved himself.
"Just get the fucking fleet up and in the sky soon." she grumbled, walking off.

Finally, she had a chance to proof herself in an extreme battle.
And along side a legend flying a legendary ship.
She was happy as could be and couldn't wait.
It was like a dream coming true for her.

She walked to the queen, a goddess looking woman, covered in tattoos.
"Queen..." she said with a bow. "A king class has revealed itself..."
The caramel skinned lady slowly sat up, raising her eyebrow.
Her eyes glowed a soft blue. "A king class?..."
"Flown by a Vinker, my queen..."
"Please, don't jest... The drunkard everyone laughs about?"
"My queen, he's fully repaired the Lost Valhalla 17..."
The queen gasped softly. "And... He pilots it alone?..."
"It seems so, my queen..." replied Morgan.
"How did you find out about the Valhalla being a king?..."
"There's wild talk about his monarch laser."

"So it's true... The Valhalla is no longer lost..."
"What does that mean, my queen?"
"That an unlikely hero has risen..."
"Will he join us?" Morgan worried.
"For the right price..." the queen sighed.
"But we have no money. What if the government hires him?"
"Then we're doomed... But I don't think he'll join them..."
"How come?" Morgan asked confused.
"The man they'll send to kill him stole his woman."
"So he's bitter and full of hatred for them?"
"For him, yes. Bring him alliance and reinforcement..."
"Are you giving me permission?"
"I know all going on in the cosmos, dear..."
"Please don't tell my father..."
"About your fluttering heart for the drunkard? Of course not..."
"Th-thank you... My queen..." she stuttered.
She hadn't thought the queen had known about her love for the myth she was about to hunt down, the caged want for such a pure hero to hold her and love her.

Morgan left the queen's chambers and suited up for combat.
She could only think about Josef Vinker.
What kind of man would he be?
Probably a huge heroic man with a golden heart.
Like a superhuman freak of nature.
She could feel her heart skip a beat thinking about him...
And so she made her escape into space with her heavy fighter squadron.
On to her adventure to find the Lost Valhalla 17.
