please read the a/n !!

It was a typical evening in your house. Besides the fact that your mom and dad went on a date and your sister was out with some friends. Which left you home alone. It's not that you don't like binge watching Netflix until they all get home, but tonight you wanted to do something.

You threw on a jacket over your t-shirt and unrolled your black skinny jeans. You tied your vans, grabbed your penny board, and headed to the stake park around the corner.

This wasn't your typical environment, but you loved skating.

The wind was whipping through your hair and it was stinging slightly against your face. It felt good. It was a good sting. You cut the corner of the sidewalk and could see the skatepark ahead. Hopefully since it was around dinner time no one would really be there.

When you arrived there, there was only one person. That's fine with you. You soared down the ramp and made it to the other side. Going back down, though, you wiped out and landed flat on your bum.

"Woah, are you okay?" The kid ran over.

"Yeah." You stood up. "How'd you see me fall?"

"Well, you are the only other person here." He smiled making his lip ring a little more noticeable. "And I was watching you skate. You're not bad."

"Oh, thanks." You blushed, thank goodness it's almost dark.

"You skate?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Why do you ask?" You raised an eyebrow back.

"Well, I don't see many girls with neon blue jackets at skate parks,"

"Hey!" You looked down at your jacket. "I like this jacket."

He laughed.

"Luke." skater!luke introduced himself.

"Y/n."

You guys skated for a while longer. He showed you some stuff and you showed him some.

"Well, it's getting kinda late."

"Luke it's only 8:30." You chuckled.

"Okay, my parents may not be the most laid back people in the world." He laughs.

"Well my parents aren't home," you shrugged, "not like you asked."

"Hmm, maybe I should text you to make sure you get home safe then." He rubs the back of his neck.

"You did not." Your mouth gaped.

"Oh, but I did," he smirks.

"Okay, fine." You blush and he hands you his phone.

"You know you could just walk me home." You zipped up your jacket.

"Are you suggesting?" He laughed.

"Maybe." You rolled back on your heals. "I'm not scared of the dark or anything."

"Aw,"

"Don't make fun of me!" You pouted.

"No, I'm not. That's adorable." He looks at me. "I'd be glad to walk you home."

When you get to your house it's kind of an awkward goodbye.

"So, this is my place." You mumbled once you stepped into your driveway.

"Oh, okay."

"Thank you, Luke." You smiled.

"You're welcome, y/n."

You both kind of just stood there. You didn't know what to do. You did the first thing that came to mind, who cares if it was the most cliche thing ever.

You kissed him.

Only for a second. But it was a nice second.

"Woah," Luke stumbled back, stunned.

"Make sure you text me," you smile heading back into your house.

"I w-will,"
