Chapter 22

Girls were looking at me weird as I rushed towards the dorms. How didn't they see Mrs.Poppy transforming or being killed... I dont understand. So many question plagued my mind as I scaled up the dorm using my bare hands. Finally I climbed over my balcony and opened the slide door. Good Skie isnt here. I dug out my clothes and weapons from the wardrobe and put them on. I rushed back to the balcony. Suddenly I heard the door knob twisting. It made me jolt a bit causing me to slip off the balcony but I swifty grabbed the edge with my right hand. Lucky there was none around to see me hanging from the blacony. The door slowy creaked open and slam shut. Then there were a few footstep. Then silence. Skie? I pulled myself up and peered over the edge. The room was empty. Maybe it was my imagination? I dropped down and made my way to the city.

Where is she? I perched on a billboard that was advertising make up. The tall skyscrapers greeted the dark endless sky. The cars and humans buzzed like bees. The night makes the city even more beautiful. I jumped down and rolled over on a roof top. Suddenly the sweet smell of blood filled my nose. My inner vampire woke up and hissed. It been a while since I drank skie's blood. Roooaarr. I swiftly turned around just to see about five corrupted vampires chasing after my target. Jesus what did she do? I pulled out my gun and head shot one corrupted vampire. Shit there is more. I counted eight this time. Dark Magician dashed passed me at full speed while holding her bloody left arm.

"Hey wait!!" I pursued after her. She was almost near the edge of roof. Dont tell me she is going to-. There were no nearby building to jump across instead there was a busy street filled with cars down below. "Stop.. you wont make it" I yelled. She turned around and winked at me before leaping off a three story building. Fuck it. I jumped off after her. The wind played with my hair and my cloak as I free fell.

Dark Magician safely landed on a cargo truck. I nearly landed on the cargo truck but I rolled off side and hit a taxi windshield. The taxi came to an instant stop and I fell off the hoody onto the road. I stood up stretching my aching back and pulling down my hoody while glaring at the taxi driver who was shaking in fear and was as pale as a dead body.

"Im sorry." I waved. Rooooaarrr. Shit they are still after us. All eight corrupted vampires were sprinting toward us. Some were jumping cars and gobbling down the drivers. I look the opposite direction Dark Magician was still on the cargo truck. She was starring at me as the distance between us grew larger. I cant let her escape. I grinned my teeth before bolting at a supernatural speed. Only few more meters before I caught to the cargo truck but I was pulled to ground by my cloak.

A corrupted vampire hovered over me with his jaws painted with blood. In a split second his razon sharp teeth penetrated my flesh. I screamed even louder when another corrupted vampire jumped on me and bit my neck. The unbearable pain spread throughtout my body. My inner vampire lost control of itself. My mind went blank. My blood splatter all over the road. N...no Im.. going. My chest pulsed causing even me to cough out blood. Into.. My chest pulsed again. A bloodrush.

Ahahahaha. Four blood tentacles stabbed both corrupted vampire in the chest. I slowly stood up like zombie. The two corrupted vampire whined and hissed before collapsing to the ground. My gun glowed in the moonlight i picked it up and clipped it to my thigh. Everyone around me even the policeman was frozen in place as my blood tentacles retract back into my body. Lucky they couldn't see my face. My chest pulsed. I cletched it and I looked up at the policeman who was walking towards me with a gun in his hand. I could see all of his red jucy vein. I licked my fangs. Blood.. I want his blood..

"Ma are you all right." The policeman asked. I didnt respond.

"GET ON!!" A teenage boy shouted handing out his hand while driving a black motorbike. He wasn't stopping so I grabbed his hand and he pulled me on the back of his bike. I snapped back to my senses. Why the fuck did I do that? I reach for gun.
