Chapter 06- Missing

Last time.........
"Shall we continue the battle?"
"Looks like I win."
"You have quite an extraordinary talent."
"You are now captain of all warfare units."

"You Highness, she is here to meet you."says the butler. "Bring her here."and the King summons Erza into the throne room.
"I congratulate you Erza Scarlet for achieving complete victory and being appointed as the captain of all warfare units. Well done." "I humbly thank you for your praise your highness."says Erza kneeling before the King. "I am King John of Crocus and to my right is my son Prince Jellal."says the King pointing towards Jellal. "I am well aware of her father." "Oh, so you've met before I believe."says the King. "Yes your highness. We met last week in the forest."replies Erza. "I look forward to seeing great accomplishments from you Erza."says the King. "And I will not cease to fail your expectations your highness."and she was escorted to her room.

The room was a normal average room like you would find in any house, with one regular sized bed, a writing desk, an average bathroom, a closet and a big window behind the writing desk giving light to the room though it was night. "This feels a bit better. I thought that I would have to sleep in some fancy room full of cushions causing it hard to breathe."Erza says to herself while letting out a small chuckle.

Afterwards she goes to sleep and all was silent in the peaceful castle but that would not last long..........

Next morning.......
"Where's Erza? I was expecting her to meet me here."says Jellal impatiently expecting Erza's presence. "I saw her heading towards the church early this morning."says Simon. "Well then let's see what she's doing there."says Jellal as he and Simon run towards the stables. Mounting on their horses they head for the church in the morning sunlight.
As they head towards the cemetery situated at the back of the church they spot a certain scarlet haired female wearing armour ( her heart kreuz armour) standing before two graves on which were two fresh bouquets of flowers were on. And as they moved closer without being noticed, they realized that there were tears in her eyes.

"Mom, Dad, I did it. I finally accomplished my life long dream."she says in an unstable but happy voice. "I wish you could be here. I would have loved it. Well I better be off now, I have duties to attend to with the Prince. I miss you and I can't believe it's been ten years already, time does fly."she says in a very sad tone. "Well see you later, I'll come visit you again soon."as she walks out of the cemetery.
"How did your parents die?"questions Jellal. "Your Highness........ I didn't expect to see you here."she replies with a shocked look on her face. "You still haven't answered my question........ how did they die?" "W-well..........." "It's okay, I understand. You don't want to talk about it. Well I'm sorry for asking."says Jellal trying to apologise to her. "No it's okay Your Highness."she says wiping away her tears. "Shall we get going? It's time for our training. And by the way haven't I told you to call me Jellal instead of your highness?"he questions her making her expose a tint of blush. "Oh I am so sorry Jellal, I"ll try."she says embarrassed at the situation which made him let out a chuckle.
As they enter the palace courtyard, a guard came up to them, having a tired and a worried look on his face. "What's wrong?" "Is something the matter?"they ask him wantingto know what all the fuss was for. "It's terrible."says the guard trying to regain his breath. "The King's crown has been stolen!"he says to the three. "When did this happen?"asks Jellal. "Well your highness, it was gone this morning when the King woke up."
The three on their stallions head straight for the stables and leaving their horses and run for the King's quarters.
"Father, what happened here?"shouts Jellal opening the doors and running inside with Erza and Simon. The King was sitting on his bed looking really depressed while Natsu, Gray, Gajeel and Gildarts were surrounding him trying to comfort him or so they were.

"You stole the King's crown didn't you ice princess?" "Me? Like I would ever do anything like that Pyro! It was obviously you!" "Not me it was Gajeel here you dummy!" "What'd you say salamander? Do you want to pick a fight with me?" "You three, stop misbehaving in the presence of his majesty!"shouts Erza stopping the fight right on the spot. All except the King stare at her strictness. "Erza is right. You need to stop acting like three-year-olds."says Gidarts.

"Your majesty, how did this happen?"questions Erza. "Well I had left my crown on the desk and when I woke up this morning it was gone."says the King. "Father, need I remind you not to be so clumsy? You need to keep it where you're supposed to keep it."says Jellal. "Sorry but I was tired yesterday so........"says the King in embarrassment. "Well that doesn't count. You need to be more aware as the King."says Jellal crossed at the situation. ( Well some King he is what I say.......😓😓😓😓) "Well could you find who did it?" "Of course your highness. We will indeed find the theif."says Erza.
As she vows this a fine golden retriever with a blue collar around its neck walked into the room. "Is that dog yours your highness?"she asks the King. "Why yes. This is Robert, for short we call him Rob. Come here boy."as he calls out for the dog it comes running towards him pushing him down on the bed, licking his face with joy. "Now Rob, what have I said. No licking me in the face."says the King playfully to his dog making him sit on the floor obeying its master's orders.
As it walks out of the room with the six knights and the Prince, Erza notices it picking up something shiny which had fallen on the floor and it was the King's pen embroidered with jewels and walking towards a different hallway. She starts following it not being noticed. "Erza......what is she doing?"says Jellal with a puzzling look, looking at the direction in which she was heading. He started following her and ultimately bumping into her. "Ouch.....Jellal, what are you doing here?"she questions the Prince. "Well, you started following Rob so my curiosity got the best of me. Anyway why are you following him?" "Well it's only a suspension but I think we found the theif"she says. "Huh? That makes absolutely no sense at all." "Shhhhhh....... would you quiet down or else we'll be caught."she whispers putting her hand over his mouth making him blush. "Ummmm would you take your hand away from my mouth."he says in a muffled whisper. "Oh, I hadn't realized, I'm sorry Jellal."she whispers with a blush seeing how close they were.
After all that they started following Rob again and this time it headed towards the basket in which it sleeps in which is situated in a room fit for a King's dog. And under its pillow they saw the King's crown. "I knew it. My suspicion was correct."says Erza. "We have found our theif. Well done. Now father needs not worry about this anymore though I must say that he needs to look after his own things."says Jellal. But upon further inspection there was a pocket watch with the letter 'J' on it embroidered with diamonds. "And I believe that's yours Jellal."says Erza sending a smirk to Jellal. "W-what?!"he says I embarrassment which made her laugh which made him laugh as well.

Next time.........
"Want to go out on a jog?"
"So why did you want to become a knight?"
"Well it started when I was nine......"

Boy am I sleepy. It's quite late now so I'll be hitting the sack now.*yawn* Well as always feel free to comment.*yawn* Well Author-Chan signing out.
