The car rolled along the dark road. Blake sat in the front seat attending his gun shot wound and other wounds from earlier in the day. My stomach growled.
"Hey Blake I'm hungry"
"What am I supposed to do about it"
"Well you know you could give me some food"
"Are you going to apologize for shooting me"
"Nope"
"Then I'm not going to get you food"
I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. The moon shined brightly above. I felt an object on my lap. I looked down to see a hamburger and a water. I looked to my side to see Fred smiling at me.
"Thank you Fred."
I took a good look at Fred, he looked about 19 with a sharp jawline, icy blue eyes, and some good looking eyebrows.
"Your welcome"
I opened the wrapper and took a bite. The hamburger instantly satisfied my craving. I looked up to see Fred looking at me. He handed me a water that I gladly took. I never really understood why Blake turned out the way he did; it's probably from his parent, but if anything it's the messed up people in this world. Blake used to be a nice and caring guy. He even was in the junior math league in middle school; he was set to be valedictorian. He went from being on a math team to needing a math tutor.
I let out a huge yawn, eyes instantly turned my way.
"You can sleep in the back"
Blake said making direct eye contact with me. Fred gave me a blanket and a pillow, which I gladly took. I spread out one blanket and then covered using the second. I instantly fell asleep.
I was awoken by the van's screeching tires. I lifted my head up to see it was day. I stretched my arms up as the trunk door was opened revealing Blake. He grabbed my arm, pulling me out of the van. A house sat in a small town.
"Isn't this risky, you know letting me be in the city"
"They wouldn't think that there would be a kidnapper in this town and besides they would look in the middle of nowhere first. Face it, your stuck with me"
