"Well go away then, why don't you?!" My step father yelled at me. My eyes stung with tears.

"I will once you go to hell!!" I screamed in his face; and regreted it right after I did.

His nostrils flared and raised his hand in the air. Now, I wasn't that dumb to just stand there and watch him getting ready to slap me.

I ducked quickly at the last minute so his hand hit the wall. Hard.

I ran from there not looking back. I ran up the stairs and to my room. I locked it and opened the window then shut again with a loud bang. Hoping my step father Logan would think I climbed out of the window.

But, he was there banging on my bedroom door..

I kept quiet. I pulled out a small travel bag and dumped some of  my clothes in there. Along with 2 pairs of shoes, make up, a jacket, and scarf. I then walked over to my window. Logan was still banging on the door and yelling curses at me.

"You fucking open this door right now!! Or I swear, I'll break it down and kill you!" Logan yelled.

I shrugged even though Logan terrified me. I opened my window slowly and quietly. My bedroom door moved a bit; Logan was pushing against it to open it.

Scared, I threw my bag down on a bush and climbed fastly out of the window. I guess Logan heard the bag and bushes, cause the yelling and banging stopped and I heard footsteps walking away. No correction. RUNNING away.

I climbed down the ladder faster, and jumped on the 4th to last one. I grabbed my bag and ran to my car. I got in and drove fastly out of the drive way.

I looked behind me and found that Logan was following me around. I sped up a bit more and swerved around cars. I went past red lights and had 2 police cars right on my tail. I was breathing hard. Driving at full speed. Damn, I didn't even have a driver's lisence! My breath hitched in my throat as a police car skidded to a stop right in front of my car. I slammed on the brakes and hit my head on the steering wheel.

The last thing I remembered was darkness clouding my mind.
