A Truthful Lie

What has society told us today.
They say that we should always tell the truth and no harm will be done, but when well tell the truth we get slapped in the face.

We are then told that we are useless, disrespectful, and ungrateful people for doing what we have done.
That we should know better then to do what we did.

But how can we trust those that we fear?

We can't. Whether they are our friends, our family, or even professionals.

Sometimes it's easier to trust a complete stranger, then to trust someone you've known for years. And sometimes we take comfort in that.

We lie out of fear, we lie out of love, and sometimes we lie for fun.
There are those who can tell a complete lie, and their are some who can bend the truth. But which is harder?

Sometimes you tell the truth with good intentions, and then people come in with their ideas and fuck things up. But you go with the flow hoping that things will lighten up, but then you realize that the truth you told has been twisted and broken and your in trouble.

The people ignore your good intentions, and only focus on what you "supposedly" lied about.

You cry and you beg, but they don't listen. Your heart is shattered, your eyes are red. And they call you the monster.

But listen carefully to me.

Your intentions are pure and your heart is made of gold. You had a reason for what you did, and you weren't selfish.

You thought of others before you thought of yourself. They might not listen to you but i will. You are loved by most unexpected of people imaginable, whether their out there with you, or in here.

If we all listened and never jump to conclusion, tears would have never been shed, and hearts would never have been broken

(If you have a story like this and need to vent, please message me if you want to. Throughout my years I've learnt never to judge people by their past)
